sandeep
Doubters can line up to eat humble pie right here. Class is class, broke the back of the West Indies with some top-shelf pace bowling. Swing Wizardry just too good for the Windies. Took this match from a dull draw to setting up a memorable India win. And if the batsmen do their jobs and score 220-odd in decent time, he's going to repeat the heroics in the 2nd innings. beetle, speedheat, sscomp32 and 2 others 1 4 Link to comment
gakgupta
Time and again we see this Kind of performance from Indian pace bowlers.....a marvellous spell and takes long time to repeat it Is this flash in the pan or here to stay? Either ways he needs good assistance from pitch to repeat his heroics... Sent from my XT1068 using Tapatalk beetle and Mosher 1 1 Link to comment
gakgupta
Forgot to add.... What we have witnessed is top class swing bowling .....right out of top drawer....any team would have collapsed with such a spell... Even clouderson would have felt proud with such bowling Sent from my XT1068 using Tapatalk Mosher, sscomp32, nevada and 2 others 5 Link to comment
Silva
IMO Indias best pace bowler. Shami and yadav might be better wicket takers but are too expensive and unreliable. And ishant is just. lol. sscomp32, beetle, Forever Indian and 2 others 5 Link to comment
beetle
So nice to see him being given a chance to show that he is working hard to improve. He may have limitations, but he works very hard to learn from his mistakes. I hope he will get a longer run in this format because he is an asset to the team and adds a much needed variation to the bowling squad. He need not play every match but definitely should be the first one to be picked up when conditions are favorable. Go Bhuvi......learn ,practice hard and get better. And do a better job when you come out to bat next time. express bowling, nevada, sscomp32 and 1 other 4 Link to comment

chewy
He has definitely added extra miles to his bowling speed, looked deadly today was consistently hitting 135 kph, perfect when u can swing both ways Link to comment

Texan
So glad to see Bhuvi come good. Doubters will always want their phhaaasssshhhhttttt bowlers like Mr Spearhead who give no returns in the team. But those who truly appreciate the nuances of cricket will know that bowlers like Bhuvi are rare finds. He keeps chugging at the batsman on the right line and length and moves the ball just enough to beat the batsman or get the edge. Here's a bowler that truly deserves his chances. Sorry phassshttt bowler lovers, your love for speed guns doesn't always translate into wickets. sandeep, sscomp32 and beetle 3 Link to comment

Sorry phassshttt bowler lovers, your love for speed guns doesn't always translate into wickets. His record is not better than those fast bowlers. Umesh Yadav average 35, SR 53. BK average 35, SR 69. SHami average 34, SR 55. There isnt much of a difference between the three. So, please stop cursing others just because he did well in one innings. You remember what had PK and Ishant done on WI tour in 2011. PK average 21 taking 12 wickets in 3 games and Ishant had 22 wickets and that WI team was better than this team. This is the problem with a lot of people here. Whoever has one good innings with the bat or ball becomes the next best thing since sliced bread. BK is good at what he does and in conditions that favor him but he has limitations too like any other Indian fast bowler. Same with Yadav, he and Shami did well in first test and people started singing chalisas for them. They are still as inconsistent as they were before. All I pointed out to you is that he only played 1 Test, in which he did bowl poorly, partly because he was coming back from an injury. Now, if you quote it as only 1 good spell since 1 Test, it doesn't sound that bad, does it? sscomp32 and beetle 2 Link to comment
