Stuge
He is banned by CAS with immediate effect hence,he is not allowed to take part in Olympics anymore. Utter shame on the part of wrestling federation of India to send him in rio. He might be right ,but the fact is he is not allowed to participate. Adi_91
What a sad end to our medal hopes. I know filling Sushil's boots is tough, but this is dream cut short. tweaker
Vilander
they could have sent Sushil instead.
Stuge
IOA and WFI are indirectly blaming Sushil Kumar for this, but most likely it has ended Narsingh's career with 4years ban.It was dumb of IOA to send narsingh in the first Without any proof that his food was sabotaged. beautifulgame
You have to be seriously deluded to think such an excuse like sabotage will get him reprieve in a doping scandal. Utter idiotic by the WFI. Only he failed doping test should have sent Sushil.Beyond pathetic Seriously blaming sabotage the lamest excuse I can think off for a doping test lol Vilander and tweaker

beautifulgame
what if it actually happened? Might be lame for you but not for the wrestler. Even if it was true , it still is a lame defence .No way would have CAS or Wada accepted that defence. It would set a ridiculous precedence for WADA and every athlete would use the same lame evidence .WADA is bone headed organization .Just Google Sakho doping case to see how ridiculous lengths WADA goes to defend their doping tests .More so after the Russian controversy which made them look spectacularly in competent WFI should never have accepted this defence even if this is true .They should have taken their time and built a decent defence for him and in the meantime let Sushil Kumar compete in the Olympics . It was a stupid strategy and all that has achieved is put end to a decent medal Chance for India . beetle, Vilander and Singh bling
beetle
They had to do it otherwise others would also get their whole town as witness and a conspiracy story. All doping cases can be explained by conspiracy.

Vilander
They should have sent Sushil Kumar instead atleast it would have been a clear shot at the medal, although he would have to move up one weight level.
beetle
Narsingh took substance intentionally, in form of tablet, rules CAS Quote While handing down a four-year ban on Narsingh Yadav, the Court of Arbitration for Sports has ruled that the wrestler failed to produce any “real evidence” regarding the sabotage theory he had advanced and the balance of probabilities” was that he orally took the banned substance intentionally in tablet form on more than one occasion. In its full award, the ad hoc panel of the CAS relied on expert evidence that Narsingh’s dope offence was not due to one-time ingestion of the prohibited substance and its concentration in the first test result (of June 25) was so high that it had to come from an oral ingestion of one or two tablets of methandienone, rather than from a drink where the powder had been mixed with water. The expert opinion was given by Professor Christiane Ayotte from Canada who was presented by the World Anti-Doping Agency. Professor Ayotte is a member of IAAF Doping Commission since 1995 and was elected representative of the Heads of IOC Accredited Laboratories in 1995-1996. She is currently the Director of the WADA-accredited laboratory in Montreal. Narsingh’s urine sample taken out-of competition on June 25 was found to contain metabolites of methandienone and long term metabolite of methandienone. Another sample taken out-of competition on July 5 was also found to contain long term metabolites of methandienone. “...all in all found the sabotage (s) theory possible, but not probable and certainly not grounded in any real evidence. The panel therefore determined that the athlete had failed to satisfy his burden of proof and the panel was satisfied that the most likely explanation was that the athlete simply and intentionally ingested the prohibited substance in tablet form on more than one occasion,” the CAS panel said. ....................... http://www.hindustantimes.com/olympics/narsingh-took-substance-intentionally-in-form-of-tablet-rules-cas/story-Ek8j0AGQc5hFgaHb9sFTjI.html
beautifulgame
Embarrassing.Even Yasir shah came up with a much better lie . And to think NADA acquitted him based on this flimsy evidence and then most threw mud on Sushil Kumar (A Olympic Medalist for India ).Should sack just about every WFI official involved in this fiasco .
