Ankit_sharma03
Make decent wkts and play 5 bowlers, Let ur batsman score runs and then 5 bowlers do the job. 5 bowlers is an attacking option but they also needs some runs on board to attack. No need to make such dry pitches, a bit but not much. Doctored pitches will give Sodhi, Santenar , Patel or which ever spinner would come a chance to become attacking option. Also Southee, boult, Wagner can exploit reverse swing with pace n bounce. So it is also important not to give their bowlers a chance. Rohit at 6 would nothing be much more than a walking wkt. Enough of this maggie n dhawan once in a blue moon show. They will get to play domestic as benched players are released now. Enough of Picking mishra, bhajji on names as they should play domestic now coz domestic needs good players. Both dont have future nyways. My 11- Vijay, Rahul, Pujara, Kohli, Rahane, Saha, Ashwin, JAdeja,Kuldeep, Shami , umesh. Bench- Ishant, Bhuvi, Nair or Pandey, dhawan Players to be dropped Permanently- Binny, Mishra and Rohit. these 5 bowlers are wkt taking bowlers and all have the capability to run through an opposition. Kuldeep inclusion can be trump card as he is not known much by opp. It would be gr8 for him to learn something on bench than sitting for Chawla . His bowling can bring an X-factor and these pitches are ideal for him to make a debut. Opp batsman, kumble as coach can help it become a dream start. If he cant debut now i dont see him debuting on any overseas tour or even Odi's soon. Shami n Umesh also become equally attacking option on dry surface with SG ball due their pace n skill of reverse swing. So we play with 5 bowlers who all are match winners and batsman who all are consistent enough to give these bowlers runs on board. G_B_, Mosher, philcric and 1 other 4 Link to comment

Vilander
Excited about Rahul, hope he does well again. Vijay hopefully gets some chances, too good a player to loose. Umesh in place of Ishant, may be wont happen. G_B_, tweaker and express bowling 3 Link to comment

YCCC
Well I'm back in the NZ are overrated camp. When was the last time Williamson made a score? He certainly didn't during his brief spell with Yorkshire earlier in the summer! Link to comment

Earlier at least it used to offer some swing, now its worse with no swing and a very small ground. Rasgulla and sscomp32 2 Link to comment

Chinnaswamy isn't that big as well but it offers something for spinners and makes it a decent ground. True. Again we play Eng in Mumbai just like in 2012 series. That is where things started to slide for us in that series. Rasgulla and TheWall 2 Link to comment

Bigg Brother
NZ has best spin attack among teams we are playing next(Australia,Eng,NZ)..And our rockstars don't play that much in domestics to improve batting against spin....So,yes NZ can win this. TheWall and G_B_ 2 Link to comment
