Who is the better keeper between Ishan Kishan & Pant Pant was our wicket-keeper in the U19 world cup and not Kishan So, it looks like he is the better keeper. tweaker and kruiser 2 Link to comment

tweaker
Rishabh Pant may only be 19 but he is already making a name for himself in this year’s Ranji Trophy. His latest achievement is breaking the all-time record of the fastest century in Ranji Trophy history as he smashed a century off just 48 balls for Delhi against Jharkhand at the St Xavier's KCA Cricket Ground, Trivandrum. express bowling 1 Link to comment

cowboysfan
looks promising,we will be really lucky if we go from dhoni to Pant in a few years and don't lose a step. tweaker 1 Link to comment
sandeep
The last time I got riled up against the hype for a young upcoming player, it was another kid from Delhi. Wouldn't mind at all if this works out 50% as good. tweaker 1 Link to comment
Sandeep99
Certainly deserves a shot in ODI team, at the very least.. Can bring the golden Viru era back at the top. If he clicks in test cricket, nothing like it! maniac and tweaker 2 Link to comment

WC2011INDIA
He seriously is our De Kock. Should be brought into the national team asap and get guidance under Kumble and other senior members of the cricket team. tweaker, maniac and Mosher 3 Link to comment
ShebbySB
Flash of Yuvi in the batswing...clean hitter of the ball.If he can keep well then we are really lucky to have him.But relating to this thread should he be fast-tracked in the test team...answer is NO.Reason being want to give him a decent run in the FC and India-A plus we have Saha in the test team who is doing a pretty good job and should not be replaced right now but he's no young man so Pant will get his chances in the due time if he continues to destroy attacks in the domestics. Lord
Reminds me of Yuvi in that clip. But shouldn't be fast tracked.Hes talented but there is no desperate need yet to select him.Selecting early can be dangerous. As of now he looks like a big hitter who can do the job in ODIs.Needs to play in away A tours imo so he can polish his technique tweaker 1 Link to comment

Laaloo
Get him ready so Dhoni can sit him on the bench again. Remember when Dhoni didnt sit out for another wicketkeeper in a dead rubber a few years back? Dhoni is very protective of his place. He needs to play as a batsman initially like Gilchrist did when Healy was still around....sad that a good chance that Dhoni will be insecure and will sabotage him...double edged sword.....Pant might lose out on his purple patch and fearless approach or just become just another seasoned domestic bully with time. We are losing out on a fantastic talent. Mosher and tweaker 2 Link to comment
TNAmarkFrmIndia
Should test him on some 'A' tours overseas before blooding him in. Surprised maniac is advocating for him since he hates Kedar Jadhav for the very reason that he (allegedly) can't play pace, even when he has proved himself on the 'A' tour of Australia.
