Yes, just read. More importantly, I feel Saha's test career too might end right here. It's hard to see him getting picked again this series amd forget about the Australian series. 

 

I wish Parthiv all the best. Hopefully he performs to seal the spot for the remaining test too.

I think they want Pant to play a full ranji season before giving him a debut. 
But even then, someone like Naman Ojha should have been selected instead of Pappu Patel.

I thought he did well when he came back as cover for Dhoni. Even played decent against South Africa in ODI's.

 

Look's fit to me and it will only make Samson and Pant even hungrier to score more runs.I don't think it is the worst selection done. I hope he plays well.

 

Here is how I look at this. I think Pant can wait a bit. I want to see Pant first in ODI's before I put him in test at no6. May be he can make way into opening slot when an opener fails and seals the opening slot as just pure batsman with someone like Sanju Samson also playing as a keeper on the same team. Blessing in disguise for Rishab Pant who had had a good start to his.  Ranji

Well little pleasures apart of watching pappu make a beautiful 30 and throw it away, brace yourself for some mediocre keeping that will make us miss Saha like he was a 2nd coming of Healy....selectors and kumble/kohli might just hug and never let go of Saha again after watching pappu keep
