Shamim.Miah
Class player! Young and can still improve! Saw him play against England. Easy replacement for Misbah! Someone Pakistanis can depend on. Hope he has a good future:) Iconoclast 1 Link to comment
kruiser
Good prospect going by the stats only.. haven't seen him play yet. Is he in line to be the fastest to 1000 ODI runs? tweaker 1 Link to comment

Forever Indian
Good to see lots of batting talent coming up for Pakistan. Coincidentally or Incidentally it is coming after the exile of the Akmals and Shehzads tweaker 1 Link to comment

sandeep
1st Pak batsman this millenium who seems to know how to bat in modern ODI cricket. Let's hope he can do it against better teams rather than just the Windies in UAE. tweaker 1 Link to comment
Iconoclast
^^^^ Will you also judge Ashwin when he starts picking up wickets in RSA, AUS, NZ, ENG ? By the way Babar had a strike rate of 100 this series and has a career strike rate of 94. Edited October 5, 2016 by Iconoclast Link to comment

sandeep
Btw, I'm happy for Pak fans that they finally may have a bat with potential, instead of fat hacks that try to slog every ball square of the wicket. But the reality is that if Robin Uthappa or Dinesh karthik or even a Parthiv Patel were eligible to play for Pakistan, they would be ATGs for that team at this point. so go suck on a lime, instead of getting over-sensitive. kosingh
Happy for Pakistan. I don't think India should play Pak, but a talented Pak team is always fun to watch. And easier to cheer for than Aus and England. Link to comment
sandeep
Pak is easy to cheer for, fellow Indic brothers that they are. Now only if their government stopped sponsoring murders of Indian citizens in pursuit of a hopeless self-defeating strategy... Sidhoni, kosingh and maniac 3 Link to comment

FischerTal
from what i have seen of him, he seems to be a primarily back-foot player. will do good in Aus, but could struggle in Eng, SA, NZ. one good thing for him is that he's a confident player of spin, which will help him in subcontinent, where he will play most of his matches. putrevus
Amazing accomplishment. Umar Akmal if he had any self belief or talent should have done the same thing . But khatmal ran away from the pressure of batting in top order. sandeep 1 Link to comment
