Malcolm Merlyn
Steven O'Keefe destroyed the Indian batting line up at Pune.Make no mistake,it was single handedly the best bowling performance by a visiting spinner in India. But is it shocking?Apparently not.For 12 years O'Keefe has toiled on the hard pitches of Australia, but has managed to pick up 237 wickets at an avg of 22.9 and SR of 53.9.Brilliant stats those. They show that O'Keefe was not to be taken lightly. The way the Indians batted againist him showed how complacent they were and how horribly under prepared they were to face a bowler who has performed very well in FC cricket. If O'Keefe continues to do this and leads Australia to a series win or draw, dont be surprised. Link to comment

Texan
Never really understood why O'Keefe did not play more Tests for Aus. He is their only spinner to have a sub-30 average in FC cricket. They tried so many spinners before Lyon - Agar, Hauritz, Krejza, McGain, etc. - all of them had pretty poor overall FC records. At the same time, O'Keefe was consistently averaging below 30 and even batting well. Never got why Aussie selectors were so reluctant to bring him into the Test setup. Link to comment

rkt.india
It is always difficult to face a bowler like him for right handers who bowled so accurately and quick in the air on a rank turner. Link to comment
Shunya
He will definitely be remembered for this series now. The list of uncanny players who comes to India and shines out of the blue continues to grow. Link to comment
