Is this how you insult the foreign players who came to play the PSL final? Are these the values of pakistani society? Is this how you repay foreign players who risked their lives to play a stupid match in lahore?

I haven't seen a more jhaahil group of ex cricketers than pak cricketers, bottle topper racist khan should remember that his entire career was built on cheating and ball tampering, a mediocre cricketer like him won't survive in this day and age, he has no right to insult any cricketer

This is like local baniyaa in Chattisgarh opening a 2-star hotel in Chattisgarh, after YEARS of boycott by foreigners due to Maoist violence, finally gets a few hippies from UK to show up and then whines that Princess Kate & Prince William didnt stop by his hotel yet....

Two things here

First, he is not wrong in saying big players didn't come . He is right in that and he was actually one of the first person to say that PSL final should not be held in Pakistan.  So kudos to him in standing and saying that Pakistan is not ready to host final.

Second, he is very wrong in calling them such names. That too after being such a big name in Pakistan and someone who wants to be the Prime Minister of his country, can't be calling someone "Phateechar."He has lost it there. This shows how Election gets better of you.

I am sure the pakistani posters on this forum are truly ashamed of their cricketers at the moment, from sarjeel khan to Imran khan, every khan has brought them embarrassment, I feel sorry for them, they don't have idols like sachin, dravid, kumble, laxman, guys who elevate the reputation of the nation

kyun paka raha he? baat ko kaha se kaha kheech raha he? Kira.. you are brining shame to your country now.. :phehe:

And the reference to "african" players is a clear euphemism for racism.  To be fair, this is not just an Imran Khan or a Pakistani thing - its a desi sub-continent thing.

to start with, this was an off-the-record; casual talk... recorded and leaked by some poor journalist...

2ndly he always has been blunt even when he is on-the-record, often politically incorrect unlike our all other sweet-sweet politicians...

Another issue with him, he's not following cricket anymore, except few v high profile games... He was unable to watch single PSL game and so was totally far from all PSL final hype whole Pak was in, that's why he was the one who kept saying why to take such Huge risk with these MASSIVE arrangements for a non-international T20 game, well, even that statement was debatable but he still thinks "CRICKET" means "Test cricket" and return of cricket in Pak means some Test series with any major team... (The fact is He's the one who'd love cricket returning Pak 100 times more than other politicians who r crying over his statements)

But... having said all of that, those were poor remarks indeed, although can't defend but we know what kind of person he is :) so can forgive his couple of poor aspects over 10s of great things he's doing for Pak...
