Gollum
I can't see us winning too many ODIs with the likes of MSD, Yuvi, Nehra etc in the XI. We need a revamp of our ODI side with fresh blood. Link to comment

Even our team which was about to win WC could manage a 2-3 loss back in 2011. OpeningBatsman 1 Link to comment

Lannister
What's the need to play 5 ODIs with WI immediately after CT. Idiotic schedule. And 7 ODIs with Aus, where no youngsters will be given chances. Link to comment

Gollum
T20 is lottery, so hard to make sense out of it. Our ODI team doesn't look too good atm, potential is there but we aren't giving chances to youngsters. We are better than WI and Lanka but can't see us beating Aus and RSA. I expect flat pattas to be laid down in October where 375 will be the par score. In those batting shootouts Australia are the firm favourites if both teams play their best XIs. If we get sporting tracks like against NZ we may edge past them but doubt we will lay out such tracks. For some reason Aussies always get flat tracks where we put ourselves at a big disadvantage even before the start of the series. Expect Warner, Smith, Maxwell, Faulkner,Bailey, Kohli, Sharma to get big 100s but they have too much firepower right down to no 10 and a much better bowling attack than England. Hope Ashwin, Jadeja, Shami, Ishant, Bhuvi, Umesh miss these matches if pattas are laid. They will get demoralized and fatigued before the all important RSA tour. In RSA we have got smashed in ODIs even with ATGs in our team and this time it will be no different. 5-0, likh lo. Our record against them is horrible there something like 5 wins, 20+ losses. Kock, ABDV, Du Plessis, Amla, Duminy will destroy us. I doubt we will be able to compete against their second XI there. In tests, we are going to smash these Cheateroos in Ranchi and Dharmasala because we are a better team in these conditions at the very least. Lanka will be meh, boring one sided beatdown with maybe rain saving them in one match. In RSA I expect the tour to start with T20s and ODIs since it starts in November and they have booked Boxing Day and New Year's matches against us. After getting demolished in ODIs I expect Kohli and co to get pissed off and take badla in the tests. Moreover they may be complacent after the ODIs. Link to comment
