Rahul shouldn't be competing with Dhawan, Rohit or Kohli.

Just need to look at other batsmen in the team and question if he is not better batsman than Dhoni, Pandey and Pandya in this format?

Why does he need to be opener only? Which specific aspect of his batting prevents him to bat above other batsmen. He is not a very slow starter and can bat quickly, so he should be good candidate as middle order batsman.

Dhawan's overall contribution was negative or 0 at best in 1st test.

They haven't done well, but how is Dhawan better?

Dhawan was biggest reason for that lead SA got in first inning. Scored 16 runs and dropped catch, missed run out allowing SA to score those crucial extra 50 runs.

Dhawan's contribution was somehwere around -20 to -30 in that match.

India has luxury to drop a player who has SR of 147 in T20Is. Show how deep and strong our T20I batting is.

Avg of 50 and SR of 147 is not good enough for you to get into team as those numbers are better than captain?

If this is not the proof of bias against this batsman then nothing else is.

Trichromatic got a reaction from adi B in Kohli becomes first Indian captain to win a series in South Africa
This series also busts the myth of spinners captain (Dhoni).

Perfect example of there is nothing like spinners captain from India. Being a spinners captain just means you're are poor at handling other aspects of game.

Give good spinners to any Indian captain on spin friendly pictures and he will be do well.

    Greatest batsman since Bradman.

He is the one who actually gives an impression how Bradman would have been in terms in impact and performance back then.

When Dada played 6 matches against England at home, he couldn't win it after being up in series 3-1

Trichromatic got a reaction from The Dark Horse in I was dropped despite performance: Suresh Raina
Has beens, senior all these terms give an impression that he is 35. He played his last game at age of 29, age when most Indian players are still finding their  feet.

He is 31 right now. If he has improved his fitness and perfoming at domestic level, there shouldn't be any reason why he can't play for India again.

Trichromatic got a reaction from Prateek3801 in Sachin Tendulkar v Virat Kohli - who is better ODI batsman?
5 years back no one would have imagined that SRT can be compared any other batsman in ODIs so soon. For years this discussion has been avoided saying that Kohli has long way to go.

But now Kohli is already halfway through in terms of number of runs and smashing all records left and right. He has got 32 centuries and it seems that he will easily surpass SRT's ODI 100s record.

First let's see their overall ICC ODI ratings
Recently Kohli achieved highest ever ODI batsman ranking for Indian batsman surpassing SRT's 887. Right now Kohli is ranked 1 batsman with 889 points.

So let's start with simple question - who's better batsman in ODIs - SRT or Kohli?
