    India's middle order

India odi team is too dependent on their top three. Most of the time they sail the team through. India' s middle order consists of Raina, Dhoni, Karthik, pandey, Rahane, Rayuddu etc. The team management is averse to blood youngsters so Iyer, Pant,Hooda,Rana are not going to get selected. Also as per team management, Dhoni is not going to retire uptill he enjoys the game. So the contenders for the no 4 spot are Raina, Rahane, Pandey, Rayuddu,. The team management is not considering Rahul for the no 4 spot as for them the batsman at no 4 should be able to roll his arm over for 2,3 overs. Jadhav had a decent outing as he was able to play at a good average & was also a handy bowlers. His injury has highlighted the middle order problem The selectors also complicated it by selecting Raina in his spot. Considering the players in the recogning for the no 4 spot,if he is full fit, Jadhav could solve the middle order problem of our odi side.
  2. The selectors should have considered the work load of fast bowlers. Bhubaneswar Kumar , Umesh, Bumrah, should not have been selected for T20 series against Ireland and Instead the reserve fast bowlers should have been selected. Bumrah is injured,if any of the Umesh, Bhubaneswar gets injured, it will be great loss for the test series
  3. The Indian bowling attack for the England test series Ishant Umesh Shami Shardul Bumrah Pandya Ashwin Jadeja Kuldeep Does this bowling attack looks like it can take 20 wickets in the tests.

It is a displaced fracture on the left hand thumb. the operation wasn't a great success," the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) source, aware about the development, said.

India ' bowling attack for England test series

Will Shami will be fit for the full 5 test series. Knowing Ishant & Umesh , they don't have the ability to run through sides by taking 5 wicket haul. They can be expected to take 2,3 wickets in the match. I don't see Ashwin or Jadeja taking wickets in England
  16. After selecting Pandya as all-rounder, there is no option for Ashwin, Ishant Shami Umesh bowling attack

1st Test vs ENG-Choose your Batting Order

Kohli is going to play the same team.He is not going to play Rahul , Kuldeep & Pant in the 1st test. For him left right combination is only important when he wants to play his buddies. He will not use that criteria to select Pant. He can drop Kuldeep after 5 wicket haul citing the reason of ground dimensions. But he didn't drop Chahal. One failure & Rahul was dropped but Raina played as he is lefty & can bowl 2 overs.
