    Ind could play 3 ARs

What did you think of his batting qwality today?

Is Rohit-Dhawan pair ideal for T20s?

Rahul Tripathi should be the opener in T20Is.

Vijay Shankar at 4 can be a good option

That is more on the moderating of this forum than anything. It's what breeds this idea that you can create any number of threads on the same topic.

I think Shankar should not be a back-up or replacement for Pandya. Pandya can sometimes bowl 10 good overs whereas Shankar can only be used at a certain time to get overs out of someone when the batsmen are not looking to attack. He's not a wicket-taking bowler at all. He can come in as a No. 5/No. 6 batsman but he can't be picked as the 5th bowler like Pandya.

Yeah. Unfortunately for him, Dhoni and Rayudu won't be dropped and Karthik is a back-up for Dhoni. Shankar is a back-up for Pandya and both won't play in the XI together.

Vijay Shankar sent up the order. Batting well considering the situation that India was in.

    Our tailender batting skills

If they do their job as bowlers, I don't care how they bat.

Shreyas Iyer and Rahane/Raina must be in WC team

Rahane is not even a short term solution. He's just not cut out for one-day cricket.

Shreyas Iyer and Rahane/Raina must be in WC team

Rahane is much worse than Rayudu.

Raina/Rahane for Karthik/Rayudu. So you're replacing one has-been/never-was combination with another.

Learning from other sports: Teenagers in FIFA World CUP

And he has the game to make up for it, which he does more often than not, considering his average of over 60 to go along with that 97 strike rate. India right now needs their top order players to score big runs. They're not an England with a strong middle order that can afford their openers to hit out or get out with the knowledge that their team bats deep.

He has a strike rate of 97 in the last 50 ODIs. Nothing to complain about.

Should Kedar Jadhav be sent up the order?

Every time? He has batted only 4 times at No. 4 in his ODI career. That's like declaring Shubman Gill a failure for life based on his debut match alone. They sent Kedar Jadhav at No. 5 in the 3rd ODI and he scored an unbeaten 61 off 57 balls to win the game. Let's not pretend he isn't capable of batting at the top of the order simply because he hasn't got as many chances batting there as a Rayudu has.
