  1. Anything less than 2019 World cup is not acceptable

    I think you're a *ing clown.
  2. Anything less than 2019 World cup is not acceptable

Hahaha, it really wasn't on here. Most people were expecting SF exit when the squads were announced. Go look at the predictions for the CT thread. Nobody gave India any chance. Some of the people here are actually hilariously clueless about Cricket, there's some comment above me calling Virat a choker. Jesus christ.
  3. Raina is coming back for sure WORLD CUP 2019

I hope not. He's bang average.
  4. I love him as a player but it's really painful to see him bat these days. He doesn't strike me as a personality who'll stay there if he is past it and I hope he retires before he goes on to ruin his legacy ala Yuvi.
  5. This Torture must end !!!

Krunal Pandya is mediocre as hell. Lol at people picking him.
  6. Kohli's left field calls that went India's way

The dropping of Ashwin and Jadeja in ODI's is one of the ballsiest I've seen by an Indian captain in some time. Dhoni wouldn't have done it.
  7. Sachin's innings was better due to context. Anyone who says otherwise is a moron.
  8. The Unpopular Cricket Opinions Thread

I agree with most of your points however-: 1) You're underrating Kohli here, whilst he's not better than Sachin but the difference between them isn't that great particularly due to the fact that Kohli has single handedly won more matches in ODI than Sachin ever did, although Kohli has played in a much more superior team. 2) Pujara is horrendously overrated as a test batsmen. Great in home conditions, but has done nothing overseas, I'm hoping that change until than Kohli remains our best batsman. 3) Anderson and Cook are ATG. Swann isn't, he was excellent but not ATG. 4) Disagree about IPL, it's a blessing in disguise. 5) Greg Chappell was excellent coach but just think that in international cricket, as a coach you need to have more man management skills than coaching, hence I believe Shastri is an excellent choice for us.
  9. The Ranji Trophy Final - Delhi vs Vidarbha

Himmat Singh really playing "bravely" here.
  10. We should try Karn sharma

This forum has slowly but surely gone insane. Karn Sharma? FFS.
  11. Ranji Trophy 2017/18

Great post. Personally find it unbelievable that people are saying that Saini should be picked for the SA Tour. The 5 bowlers we've chosen are all on their merit. I believe that we'll start with Bhuvi, Shami and Ishant in SA Tests and that's the way it should be.
  12. #TeamIndia for Paytm T20Is against Sri Lanka announced Rohit (Capt), Rahul, Shreyas, Manish, Dinesh Karthik, MS Dhoni, Hardik, W Sundar, Yuzvendra, Kuldeep, Deepak Hooda, Bumrah, M Siraj, Basil Thampi, Jaydev Unadkat.
  13. Ranji Trophy 2017/18

Where has this delhi opener Kunal Chandela came from? Only played three FC Matches so far and has handled Shami with utmost ease.
  14. Ranji Trophy 2017/18

Saini looks very impressive. Also Rohan Gavaskar can * off. **** commentator.
  15. Dhawan is useless overseas, agreed and that's why it becomes more important to give Vijay and Rahul time as opening partners. I'll disagree with you about Rohit, but he's anyway not going to be named in our XI. We'll play with 6 batters plus Pandya and 4 bowlers.
  16. Great to see Kohli rested. Probably could've dropped Kedar and get in someone else but excited for Iyer.
  17. Because it's better to take them overseas rather than completely destroy a young batsmen's career if they fail in the toughest conditions where our veterans have also struggled. Too much pressure on them to perform and could be seriously detrimental if they fail. Also are we even in a position to try out youngsters for opening slot? Vijay is coming back from injury and needed game time. Rahul and Dhawan hasn't opened much together. Also I hundred percent disgaree about Rohit not having the technique, his weird shot selection lets him down, technically he's well equipped to bat at number six in tests.
  18. Such a ridiculous thread this. Our selections have been spot on. Just because you watch a duleep trophy match on TV, doesn't mean that you know better than the selectors/coaches etc. "Friendship Team" - pfft! Some of you overestimate your intelligence.
  19. 2nd Test IND v SL | Nagpur

How the * did Pakistanis managed to lose 2-0 to this crap?
  20. Thought this was interesting. Good to see another young talent being considered by the Indian team and he is very, very promising but also great to see that they're not taking any exceptions over fitness. http://www.thehindu.com/sport/cricket/yo-yo-the-new-dreaded-term-that-can-swing-a-players-fortunes/article19786606.ece Nehra passing it is a surprise.
  21. The walking wicket took your best bowling attack in history to cleaners in a WC match. Pakistan seem to have an inferiority complex when it comes to Sachin.
  22. People saying Kohli is better than SRT are too young to watch Sachin at his prime. No person who had to sit through 90's watching Sachin carrying that absolute joke of a middle order would ever make that comparison. Three factors which make the comparison stupid. 1) The pitches weren't this flat. 220-230 used to be a good score more or less. Now days 300 is considered to be a good score. 2) The bowling attacks. Aussies had Mcgrath and Warne. Saffers had Donald, Pollock. Pakistan had Waqar, Wasim, Shoaib. SL had Vaas, Murali. 3) Indian batting was a joke. For the first ten years only Azhar and Jaddu were decent ODI players. Only after Ganguly and Dravid did he finally had support.
  23. Shami over Pandya/Ash?

Some of our fans are clueless as hell. Yes he had a bad bowling day today, but as a package he's an invaluable asset to India right now. The final XI will be the same inspite of the need to make changes here.
  24. Hardik Pandya, the complete cricketer.

His bowling excites me more than his batting(that's not to say that he is not good as a batsmen). I think if he progresses like he has, then there's no reason he can add more speed to his bowling. I was watching some Pakistan cricket show on YT to see them crying after our latest match and to my surprise found one of the shows had Sir Viv, Ian Chappell and Lara as pundits. All three of them pointed out Pandya as someone who has huge potential and very impressed by his bowling and speed. Makes me laugh when people say Krunal is better than him. Hardik will be a test match international cricketer for India, Krunal has to go above Axar to get into our second string Indian side.
