SPB in tamil and telugu is awesome, he is a very distant relative of mine. His hindi accent is very pronounced though, I can understand why Lurker detects it so easily.

No offense to SP Balasubramaniam fans, but he should stay far far away from Hindi and Urdu songs. He butchers them at the level Reshamaiyya would do. The guy has no concept of the emphasis and flow of the languages and is like listening to hail falling down on a tin roof.

I can't say about other languages, but Yesudas is on a completely different plane to SP. His diction and emphasis is just so much more refined than SP. I might actually prefer listening to Sanu than a SP song.

I dont know why you keep saying "no offense." I think most of the Southies are more experienced at hearing ripping apart of their languages by Northie singers than anyone else

Seriously speaking though, the subtleties are very very different, and I dont really know why he even sang the few that he did in Hindi. In Telugu, the correct pronunciation demands to stress every letter, every sound, etc properly, and in Hindi/Urdu, I'm sure thats not the case. Laxmikant Pyarelal

And at song above.

Family song?

How about this

Sarah Palin is a ****ing retard.

Dont worry, this is satire.

Butchered all the Salman Khan's song

Probably the worst was this.

Quick trivia : Whats unique about this song? Anybody?

The song was written by Dawood Ibrahim's brother Noora.
