  1. In my view the batsmen who was closest to Vishy was Rohan Kanhai in terms of overall game. Both batsmen had near perfect technique and could execute strokes that were surreal. They could make the best of deliveries look mediocre as though it was giving them batting practice.Their detest touches could send the ball rattling to the boundary. They were the ultimate connoiseurs of cricketing strokes taking cricketing art to meta physical heights In terms of artistry Azharuddin was very similar with his magical leg side play with his magical leg glances and flicks and by y a shade more elegant than Vishy .Zaheer Abbas was another version of Vishy but a better executor of the drive and better on the backfoot. V.V.S.Laxman almost looked like Vishwanth in are-incarnated form in recent times.Kalicharan was similar to a left -handed Kanhai with his imperious driving ,pulling and hooking and technical perfection while David Gower took cricketing grace to a supreme height never reached by a left hander, but often looked rather carefree. The best technical equivalent of Vishwanath was Mark Waugh ,who was more organized than even Lara. For sheer style or grace thus Zsheer,Azhar ,Gower and Laxman closest to Vishy but for overall game Kanhai.
