  8. Now that we know that the springboks are clueless with the wristies, isnt it time to bring in another spinner and close out all exits for them. Axar can do what Pandya can do with the bat, and I don't think he will have to do much either, with the way things are shaping up . Will Kohli bring Axar in place of Pandya?

    Excellent analysis by sanju manju!!

manju article- www.espncricinfo.com/story/_/id/21743273/why-shami-yadav-need-change-their-line thats the reason why indian bowlers struggle overseas.
  12. today india's batting was pathetic...but indian pacers ....again proved to be toothless... no bowler got more than 1 wicket ....shameful and please - don't curse bumrah for no-ball..he had 59 other balls ....he bowled half of his bowls on the leg stump..pathetic and bhuvneshwar bowled too wide ....didnt bring lbw into play......this bowling unit will struggle good time in south african tour
  13. i am not disappointed by indian batting ....coz pitch 'mamba' - swing and seaming ..both.. but can indian bowlers take advantage of this?????this will be the real test... my prediction:no

  16. Just saw a stat on star sports that ... bumrah has 23 wickets in 25 innings with new ball i.e approximately 1 wicket with new ball every match . bhuvi has 12 wickets in 22 innings with new ball i.e approximately 1 wicket with new ball every 2 matches .(0.5 wicket per match) this means by wicket taking ability ratio (with new ball) bumrah has twice the capability than bhuvi with new ball...also bumrah beats batsmen edge on numerous occasions but not so with bhuvi ..... is this means that india needs to give chance to another new ball bowler in odis and grooms him to become good at death as well ...

    Hardik pandya as a player

Pandya will be a huge burden on india in tests especially overseas- cant regularly take wickets and also struggles against pace if its good length ball + he wont get 2 spinners in overseas tours... along with dhoni, he is the most overrated player in team.. best player in team is an explosive bowling all-rounder who picks up wickets regularly.. will be thrown out from team like a used condom after overseas tours...lol
  18. India usually don't tackle T20s too differently than ODIs. In the last few years, their best ODI players have also primarily made up their best T20 squads, which means they don't field many specialists. However, strong IPL performances have earned Shreyas Iyer and Mohammed Siraj a place in the squad for this series. Pitch and conditions The average T20I score at the Feroz Shah Kotla while batting first is 146, but in the IPL earlier this year, that average rose to 184. The surface at the ground is usually sluggish and two-paced. Changes in pace and cutters are potent defensive weapons. There is no chance of rain. Squad : India (probable): 1 Shikhar Dhawan, 2 Rohit Sharma, 3 Virat Kohli (capt.), 4 Dinesh Karthik, 5 Manish Pandey, 6 MS Dhoni (wk), 7 Hardik Pandya, 8 Axar Patel, 9 Bhuvneshwar Kumar/Jasprit Bumrah, 10 Ashish Nehra, 11 Yuzvendra Chahal New Zealand (probable): 1 Martin Guptill, 2 Kane Williamson (capt.), 3 Colin Munro, 4 Ross Taylor, 5 Tom Latham (wk), 6 Henry Nicholls, 7 Colin de Grandhomme, 8 Mitchell Santner, 9 Trent Boult, 10 Tim Southee, 11 Ish Sodhi
  19. Venue: Green Park, Kanpur - Uttar Pradesh Pitch & conditions: Not much has been divulged about Green Park's pitch condition after the Pune fiasco involving curator Pandurang Salgaoncar allegedly agreeing to tamper with the track. But the history of the stadium says it's not going to be on the slower side. 20. Virat Kohli's men will aim to bounce back and put things back on level terms when they take on New Zealand for the second ODI match in Pune. After a stunning run of six consecutive bilateral series wins, the Blackcaps have put Team India in a shocking 'save the series' situation after they upset the home side with a six-wicket victory at Wankhede, on Sunday. With the three-match series lying as 1-0 in favour of the tourists, Virat and Co have an uphill task in stopping yet another Kiwi uproar Pitch and conditions The last international match in Pune was a Test that didn't last three days. The ODI, prior to that, saw 351 chased down by Kohli and Kedar Jadhav. Runs are usually freely available at this ground, especially with short boundaries. There is no chance of rain. Squads: India: Virat Kohli (captain), Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Ajinkya Rahane, Manish Pandey, Kedar Jadhav, Dinesh Karthik, MS Dhoni (wk), Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Jasprit Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Shardul Thakur. New Zealand: Kane Williamson (captain), Trent Boult, Colin de Grandhomme, Martin Guptill, Matt Henry, Tom Latham, Henry Nicholls, Adam Milne, Colin Munro, Glenn Phillips, Mitchell Santner, Tim Southee, Ross Taylor, George Worker and Ish Sodhi.

Combined Indo Pak All Time ODI Team

Just for fun, since the group is dull today! So, here's my dream Indo-Pak combined ODI team... Mind you, I am going without stats right now. And I am considering players who I have seen. Here's my list - Sachin Viru Kohli Saeed Anwar Yuvraj Dhoni Wasim Akram Kumble Saqlain Mushtaq Waqar Shoaib 12th and 13th players- Kapil Ddev Imran Khan The reason why Kapil and Imran dont make it to the team is because the batting and bowling is so strong, we dont need outdated players. More importantly, Imran was too slow as a batsman to be accomodated in the present ODI scenario, Kapil has a strong chance of replacing Yuvi or Saeed. I do believe this has to be almost the best combined team ever for ODI. Please share your teams and your thoughts!
  22. After receiving an eight-wicket thrashing in the second Twenty20 International , India will aim for a better show when they take on Australia in their third and final cricket match at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. Australia: David Warner (captain), Moises Henriques, Aaron Finch, Tim Paine (wicket-keeper), Daniel Christian, Glenn Maxwell, Jason Behrendorff, Nathan Coulter-Nile, Travis Head, Adam Zampa, Andrew Tye, Kane Richardson.
  23. India vs Australia T20I series will continue with the second T20 international in Guwahati. The match offers an opportunity for Australia to bounce back in the series and level it and for India, it is a chance to wrap up the series by winning the second consecutive game.
