Juvenile responses aside, when singer Papon kissed a girl without consent, he was rightfully chastized. The same should be done here. Why is not called a sexual assault?  If women claiming assault have to be taken seriously, the field has to be level playing. Read this, the boy was awkward.

Inappropriate behavior not just because it was not mutual but more so because she was the judge and hence in a position of power.  The only difference being , he is not a minor.

 

Katy perry should have known better.

She may be a star but that does not mean she is desirable to every person . Being kissed without desire or permission can be a vile experience. 

 

The guy is in America. He should sue her .What do the laws say about this in America?

The boy has to file a suit/complain it to law enforcement for it to be pursued, like how Weinstein case came about. If there are a lot of cases, then prosecution can lay charges on it's own based on suo moto action, as it did for Bill Cosby.

But the boy is looking for a career in music, suing American Idol will get his nowhere. She being in a place of power in the music industry can hurt his chances. I think he got his 15 mins already. There is statute of limitations as well. He has to decide soon. But for now, it seems like he is not going to file a case..

That is sexual harrasement. A person in position of power is the one who should be more prudent and also liable.
