atm sanvir has a  very short run up and no real pace..medium pace at best. hits the pitch hard using the shoulders but not really threatening wrt to pace. action and follow thru is decent but overall bowling looks part time and mainly a batsman. not really tall either

Sanvir was an opening batsman for Punjab U23.

Saw punjab's game highlights

Gill is so pleasing to watch, but he shud make it count now

really liked sanvir batting, he looks to have really good control over his game. Will be looking forward to him this season

Markhande can bat, yuzi shud be careful now.....soon gopal n markhande will be breathing down his neck

Sran's bowling was looking sharp, hope he finds his way back. Always thought of him as good LOI prospect

Pacer allrounder Sanvir Singh of Punjab scores 110  off  195 balls.

Saw 1-2 balls of his bowling in highlights........to less to say much

but he looked like a short heighted trundler .......his speed wud be 120-125......

Though i really really liked his batting

Rahul chahar bowls a lot of short pitch loose stuff, no wonder he sat on bench in IPL....neways the more he plays he ll get better

Nathu singh- just during his follow through the way he falling was lil worrysome......hopefully gets better as he plays

Has irfan pathan forgotten how to even hold a bat and his bowling so slow......painful to watch. What a talent he was

I think speedguns are slower by 7-10 kph

Lalit was clocking 108-115 ,

But was surprised to see Nalkande clocking 139 on them

Strange

Lalit quickest was 133. those were not 108 or 115.  at least were 130 if not more.  he was looking visible quicker than BK who bowls 130-135.  Nalkande was looking 140 plus easily.

We keep on thinking that it is a fixed speed difference.

But it could well be just a case of inaccurate readings  and high speeds not registering.

No proper pacer clocks 108 kph  or 115 kph.  Increasing these by 10 kph would still give low speed readings when we look at Lalit Yadav bowl  ...  but Nalkande was not bowling 150 kph either.  Quickest balls would not be more than 143 k range.

So ...  seems like just a case of random and inaccurate speed readings.

Poor quality equipment being used in all probability.

but this was no visible to commentators.  if you heard Razdan about Lalit saying if you bowl at 126kph, you will have to bowl 20-22 overs a day.  :giggle:
