  1. 1. Who should be part of 2019 World Cup

Jadeja once again comes back based on his Test form.. Why don't we get it. Jadeja's go to show is to plank his front and edge the ball over point.. It works for him in Tests when the field is up and the ball is old with bowlers tired.. It doesnt work in 50 overs when field is back.. the guy is a headless chicken while running his singles...

Frankly, I am sick of Jadeja and his fans.. Jadeja has played 5 worldcups, and not even in ONE world cup game out of 5 worldcup games, he he played as single match winning innings... but we keep going back to his guy based on his Test exploits.. Just when I thought Krunall would be back in LOI based on performance in Australian T20s, Jadeja is back again getting his turn in his 6th worldcup

amidst all the criticism about Dhoni, we should not forget this all time phoney. How has this guy come back in the squad and hold that crucial lower order hitters spot is unfathomable. Once again in the last match, he came and was looking for singles n doubles adn whenfinally decided to hit a shot got out.

Dhoni, Rayudu and DK need to go for sure, but this phoney should be the first to be thrown out.

That’s very harsh. Since his comeback, he’s taken 15 wkts@26 in 9 ODIs with a ER of 4.62. His batting in LOI sucks but he’s contributed very well in bowling + fielding. He is not the reason for the losses

at his position we need more batting fire power than bowling.

Better to accept our LOI unit is a team of specialists with keeper as the only all rounder ( all rounders are at best bits and pieces players only). And that means Chahal and Kuldeep playing as two spinners but only in our last ODI series there were threads calling Chahal useless. So kicking Jadeja is an easy solution.

Yes ideally of any of the two Chahal and Kuldeep were capable batsman, it would have been perfect. But this Ind sode anyways lacks the power in the middle order and Jadeja as batsman adds to the problem.

My key concern is that Jadeja appears to always trying to be the hero.  He is a competitive cricketer and wants to succeed, which is good, but he tends to put team’s interest below his at times as can be seen from his reluctance to not sacrifice his wkt in the CT final. Or him being trigger happy to take reviews on his bowling. In 2009 WC T20 game vs Eng, he wasted balls rather than throw his wkt away. In test cricket, a team can bounce back but in ODIs, you have to put the team first and support those who are doing better on the day rather than try to be a hero all the time .... a good cricketer though

thats a rather polite way of saying he is a selfish cricketer

K. Gowtham is another candidate.

Batting Strike rate of  129  in List A  and  169  in T20s.

Proper bowler with  51  wickets from 32  List A matches at an average of  25.6  And  ER of 4.8.

Isn't this what we need.

Proper bowler who can play at a very high SR at No.7.

he is not a bad option, but his batting is very hit-and-miss. he's more of a number 8 to me. no. 7 should be able to bat properly in case cheap wkts fall - this is rare, but can happen occasionally.

Jadeja and it is not even close. Krunal the bowler is useless and any plus with batting is totally negated by his bowling.

People are just assuming the Krunal can hit world class bowlers from word go.I don't think he is that great hitter to begin with, so him playing ahead of Jadeja is ridiculous.

Krunal's batting and bowling both are unproven against quality teams and in ODIs.  Its too late for him to force his way into the WC plans.  Which is a shame. Indian team badly needs options for that type of player as 5th bowler or 6th batsman.  And Jadeja aint it.

yeah, it's too late to fix our 3rd pacer, our misfiring middle- and lower-order.

Krunal is not fifth bowler, so that eliminates him from any contention. He is not worth a place in t20s either away from home.

Krunal is better than jadeja in every aspect of the game except fielding may be but the irony is none of them Will feature in wc.

How is he better in bowling. Kruanl is part timer where as Jadeja is legtimate left arm spinner whose forte is accuracy. No one knows how well Pandya can hit international bowling.Jadeja has 3 triple hundreds.
