Iconoclast
ICC ECB will create a pitch that favors NZ. Question is if India lose the two big guns at the top can the rest of the batting recover ? Nonbeliever 1 Link to comment
DHONI_FANN
Boult is the dangerman. We need to play him carefully even if it means scoring 20-30 runs from his 10 overs cricketfan28 and nitinbwj 1 1 Link to comment

NZ struggled against them in January, so Virat may make a change in that regard. However nz batsman specialy kane nd ross were relatively at ease against kulcha in one of the practice match.. i think team will go with bhuvi, bumrah, shami, pandya nd jadeja.. will be a pace dominanted attack sensing cloud cover. diehardpacer
Both 2007 T20 & 2011 LOI WC wins have come after defeating heavy giants in QF & SF. 2003 & 2015 losses happened due to entering semis after playing lower ranked teams.Same pattern now again . Jimmy Cliff and SrinjayDutta 2 Link to comment
Insidious
My real concern is Trent Boult. He can really trouble indian top order especially Rohit Sharma. We need to have a plan for that Link to comment

Only Ban game was played within 2 days after Eng game but that was at the same venue. Don't whine just for the sake of whining. Its become an ICF phenomenon these days. Anyway, playing more regularly helps our team. We played Afg after a week layoff and it was a close game too close for our comfort. Our team can get too relaxed after a week layoff prasen82 and Frustrated 1 1 Link to comment
Zero_Unit
NZ is in some terrible form. Can't believe we lucked out and are not facing eng in semi. I can see a IND v ENG final on it's way. Link to comment

CG
Old Trafford pitch has good bounce and pace and minimal seam movement. It will suit indian batsman and bring spinners in to the game.I am hopeful we will win and go to finals. Link to comment
gooner
Ideally would have preferred two hundreds and a 50 from Rohit in the group stages, which would have kept him hungry for A SF and Finals. After this kind of run I don't know whether he has enough in the tank, he should be mentally exhausted by now. Link to comment
nitinbwj
Depends on weather and Toss. If we bat first in overcast conditions, Boult could easily take out the top order. We have to see off his spell. Not that worried about KW and Taylor. We are a gun team and would gun them down. I hope the weather gods play good. Edited July 7, 2019 by nitinbwj Adorable Fan 1 Link to comment

Adi BB
Kiwis are really bad against spinners ,I'll play kulcha but only if conditions aren't overcast or pitch ain't fresh Link to comment
chewy
Easy win for India. Flat pitch means quality will triumph over the Kiwi bits and pieces players. Even if Williamson scores runs, it won't be threatening Big threat on flat pitches will be Guptill and Ross Taylor Neesham, Gandhomme and all their late order are lambs vs spin If NZ win, it will be huge upset. Unstable Joe
Not much to discuss. India wins toss, they put up 250-300, NZ choke. NZ wins toss, they put up 150-220, India comfortably chases. DHONI_FANN 1 Link to comment
