Norman
Don't know why you overrate Pandya so much. He will be a sitting duck on wickets like these. He is only capable of once in a blue moon freak performances like the 90 odd in Capetown and the fifer at Trent Bridge and will be bang average for the rest of the time. anish2tweet 1 Link to comment

How is that bad for a new player? He has 50 in Eng too and was fighting to get Ind to a win in the first test in Eng (last man out) .... better than Karthik, Vihari, etc, (can’t even put bat to ball unless a flatish track on which Pandya can thrive as well) .... Aus suits his type of playing style (where again those who played in his place struggled) .... and let’s not forget averages 60+ with the bat in home/home like conditions With experience, he would would do even better Anyways, .... M not saying that but no need give someone more credit n take away from other based on a small phase. Going forward how sure are u that rahane wont score ?? No one is sure what happens in future. If anything rahane is coming from a lean phase and after lean phase comes a peak one and he already avg 70 last year and is scoring in this test to . If we start taking such small sample kohli shud also under scanner and that guy will definately end up doing better then pujara . TBH we shudnt think a lot going forward in test now as next test series is almost an year away Link to comment

bhakum20
It’s a losing proposition so why not just send any bunch of players from ranji or high school or even gully. Will save a bunch of costs. National team should only play in subcontinent, or WI if they feel like taking a holiday Link to comment
