I guess it will be another below average series for him.. he will score couple of 40s when not needed..  they will still continue to play him due to mumbai lobby ( read gavaskar/shastri) and he will score plenty again in non-SENA series to repeat the cycle.

Rahane really ? We has Shaw. Then do visit Vihari's numbers, then look at how Mayank is batting and you question on Rahane .

40-50 is his limit these days, won't be surprised if this is his HS in this series. Will never play Lyon this well again, that much I am sure.

For all his so called technique he never looks comfortable at the crease or that he can bat long and score big. 

 

Had one purple patch and done diddly either side of that. But wont ever get dropped cause he has his backers and is VC.
