Sha2 support club

Recommended Posts

After the highly successful Riss project where 2 players were backed by me and fellow like minded folks where we showed a lot of restraint, took a lot of blows, showed a lot of resilience and patience to finally see where the 2 backed players are today , time to move on and pick 2 other extremely talented cricketers and see them mimic the same level of success.

Sha2 please no play on words :nono: is here to stay. It stands for Shaw and Shardul

Players include

Prithvi Shaw- one of the most mercurial young bats of this generation. A box office player. Someone who will make you spend that extra money on the latest TV to watch him bat.

Shardul Thakur- one of the most underrated utility cricketers in the world. Someone who can turn the game when least expected and blessed in all 3 facets of the game. This is the guy who has won his teams more matches already than some hyped up players.

Lets take a moment to realize what we have on our hands here. 2 players I would pay good money to watch.

Lets back the sha2 project.

nice word play, but terrible players.

I know you are not a test match fan but this Shaw is one of the most exciting cricketers in the world. If he can make tests exciting check him out in the IPL.

So is Thakur, his batting is excellent, honest trier who gives 200% while fielding and a mercurial bowler who might have off days on the pitches these days but can turn it around like he did in the Nidihaas trophy or a couple of other matches where he won the man of the match.

People said the same thing when I backed Rohit and Ishant 8 years ago and look where they are now. People even associated my backing of  Rayudu to regionalism and he ended up playing almost 2 WCs since then and there was a controversy why he missed the 2nd and had a fairly decent numbers at the end of his career.

Trust me I see something special in these 2, please no hate, let’s back their success. These are very good cricketers

Shaw is a special player

But

Shardul is avg at best who may be good for teams like SL , ireland, Zimb, Bang but not a top team like India.

You were backing guys like Dube and Krunal. Thakur is much better than them and even Sundar.

They played as utility cricketer....shardul plays as specialist. Thats the diff.

If shardul plays he keeps a specialist bowler on bench. Those guys plays at a spot where if not them some other utility cricketer wud be played. Now does his state, ipl or indian team trust him to play at that spot is the question. I dnt think he wud be a bad option in t20 at 7 considering how lil no.7 gets a chance in 20 over game but he cannot plays as a specialist bowler.

Correction i dnt back dube....i said we need a player like so its important to give him chances.....doesnt mean i rate him.

I thought his name was Shard Ul Thakur.

That he was some sort of a glass breaking land owning momin. But I realized that he is a gair-Muslim.

Therefore I have decided to withdraw all support.

Deen before watan, thats how we roll :hatsoff:

As the prophecy goes Shardul will lead a group of ignorant men (Kohli) and sinners (Shastri) to the promised land (WT20 2020) along with co-messiah Shaw.
