Germany has ore deaths than india, almost similar number of cases. So that didnt help germany much. Virus spreads so fast that even one person can infect hundreds. Germany would have been a hotbed of deaths same as italy or france but have a look at their death percentages ,they did a terrific job in isolating the cases when the rest if the world were struggling since feb end .one fact maybe that the chinese influx in germany is quite low compared to UK,swiss, italy,Spain India will eventually surpass Germany in the death toll ,not saying India have done badly ,we done pretty ok I believe and especially not allowing this disease to reach the rural areas . That is because the dangerous strain (L strain I think) of the virus has got into mumbai and ahmedabad . No state could have dealt with it any better be it Tamil nadu ,Karnataka ,delhi had that strain got here . Nothing will be safer once the lockdown ends and inter state travel starts ,because plenty of states still dont have proper guidelines for quarantine of travellers be it bus ,train or plane . For example delhi does not have any guideline for quarantine of any traveller ,but UP and Bihar have strict rules for 14 days quarantine for travellers .
