and all the cricketing experts....Pls throw some light on his pace bowling....

I personally think...for an allrounder, his bowling is exceptional ... Moreover...he is just 14 year old

He is giving up his cricket...as he is stuck into Andhra -telangana issue....

All your comments and cricketing insights might help save his career....he needs some motivation now...

Pls provide your genuine feedback on his bowling...

Thanks!!

The only thing I have to say is that he is 14 years only. Let him have fun with no expectations. Let him be a kid and enjoy the game.

He is giving up cricket ...as he is caught up with andhra-telangana issue

He is born in Andhra and brought up in Telangana ....

He is not eligible to play for telangana, as he didn't stay in telangana for 15 years and ....somehow,he is not treated as local in andhra

I have trying to prep him up but its not working...thought genuine feedback of his bowling in this respectful forum will give him necessary encouragement...

Oh I didn’t know about that rule. He has great shape on those deliveries though. If it is his passion he should not give up. 14 is too early for someone to give up their dreams. If he is Indian and is talented that should open door for him anywhere else.

Please post a normal video. The video is far too edited and the speed of the video seems touched. For whatever its worth, he looks a good promising bowler. He is athletic and his run up is good. His shoulders look strong for many a overs. And he is able to generate nip off the pitch, which is good. Send him to bangalore or chennai once. In a proper club, he can be honed. Looks good enough for IPL in the next 6 yrs for sure, if not test.

I do not understand this Andhra Telengana issue, but is  pace and swing seems incredible for a 14 years old.  The body is still growing, so who know where he will be in 4 years. In the days of pre-Kapil Dev, he might have been considered into the Indian team :giggle:. In India pace bowling is more competitive now. there is a career even he does not play for India. When I was a kid, you either made it to the national side, or pursued a different career. tell him not to lose heart.

Lovely shape, booming inswing. Can't judge more based on a 20 sec edited video, can't make out his pace or height, moreover just 14. His body will undergo many changes in the next 4 years and that will impact his action, strength, endurance, flexibility, speed etc, a work in progress and who knows how the final product will turn out. He may even do a 180, Agarkar and Ashwin were specialist batsmen in their junior days!!!!

Please ask him to enjoy his cricket and not fret too much, eventually things will work out just fine, for some people it takes more time but that's ok. Some ex-cricketers run camps in cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Arun Lal has his thing in Kolkata (Ashok Malhotra too runs a famous summer camp).....next vacation ask him to enroll in one of those places even if it is just for a month or so, he may get noticed (scouts do linger in such places, why limit his scope to just Andhra/Telangana) or at least there will be better guidance compared to anonymous internet crowd. And he can measure himself against the best young talent in the country. You say he is an AR, so that's good, always better to have skills in more than one department.

Also ask him to not lose focus in studies, these ambitions are nice to have but need to have backups in a country like India, even if he can't achieve his goals in the sport he can shine in university level and maybe build from there.

Can't make out his wrist position from that video, or how his foot lands (front foot looks like injury waiting to happen). Head and body need to align better, very difficult to give inputs based on that video but he is falling too much to the left at the time of delivery. Also opens up the possibility of injuries in multiple places, needs to be more upright and for that develop a stronger core. And he is bowling from wide of the crease (not a definitive conclusion cos of low sample size), needs to come closer to the stumps to open up possibilities of more kinds of dismissals.

Ball is swinging means, wrist position is fine. He is an inswinger, so, left lateral flexion is pertinent. If he gets more upright, won't be able to get that inswing.
