Texy
Babar averages above 45 in tests and 50-plus in both one-dayers and Twenty20 Internationals, putting him in the top five of all three formats. Link to comment
LordPrabhzy
Just saw the days play- he’s got some really good shots. I think he will replace Root in the Fab 4 shortly if this series goes well Link to comment

Sandeep99
Easily among top 5 batsmen of the world currently. The guy has all shots and looks very solid for a number 4. Showed no signs of weakness against a strong attack of Anderson, Broad, Archer and Woakes. I expect him to go big and make a double century in this England series. Too good a batsman to miss out. Gollum
Ranked high in all formats: #6 in tests #3 in ODIs #1 in T20s Has been on fire in tests for the last 18 months, great WC in England. IMO presently he is the 2nd best batsman in world cricket behind GOAT Smith....had Kohli not flopped in the WC I would have had him at number 2 spot. Hope English bowlers and skipper/TM figure him out soon Edited August 6, 2020 by Gollum sergio04 and nevada 2 Link to comment
Gollum
The real question is whether Babar will get the same love/affection from Kohli like fixer Amir. In the WC match, Kohli declared himself out of Amir's bowling when umpire gave him not out and the ball missed the bat by a distance. Think of it, he let go of the opportunity to get a WC 100 against arch rivals...just to win over Amir's heart. Will he ask Babar to bat once again after being given out in 2023 WC? That is the burning question. And what will he gift Babar? He gave his bat to bowler Amir, will he offer his ball(s) to the batsman Babar? Tough place for Kohli here, unlike Amir this guy is a direct rival. He needs to find the balance between ego and approval of Pakistanis in SM space and for the sake of his Bollywood wife. I will be little reserved while claiming this, just because he's pakistani,he will never be out of controversy and their team culture will create immense pressure on him Pak has produced good bats in the past too eg Yousof,Younis,Hameed(prodigy) but never consolidated their names among the Top 4-5 batsmen in the world Link to comment
Lone Wolf
Babar indeed is the real deal. People are getting crazy over his drives but watch out the square cut he plays vs Pace. Out of all Asian batsman these days he plays that so well. Our own KL Rahul had the potential to be best batsman of this era but he has only himself to blame. At the moment I hope he at least becomes a limited overs bully. He our best T20I bat atm. Real McCoy and New guy 2 Link to comment
Austin 3:!6
Babar played well no doubt but too many soft balls from England helped his cause. He was clearly uncomfortable against Archer before lunch and root should have continued with him. But he decided to bring Anderson/Brad back post lunch and they bowled rubbish - Leg stump half volleys, full toses etc. And later he took advantage of pie chucking spinners - Bess & Root. This mofo Anderson torment us every time we go there but was bowling leg stump half volleys yesterday Gollum and raki05 2 Link to comment

Norman
Honestly I thought he would turn out to be another Ahmed Shehzad/Umar Akmal a couple of years back. But damn.... he has proven me wrong. Will most likely be GOAT from baki land. Link to comment

He was more into doing well for India. After that Aus tour where we lost 0-4, he had a good ODI run until he became captain. At that point, I was sure he will overtake Sachin as not just the leading run scorer for ODIs but also the guy who stays there at the end and wins matches like Dhoni. I thought wow we have Sachin and Dhoni in one package. But it all fell apart after he got the captaincy and his ego got into his head. Anyone in the media who says brand Kohli or brand Dhoni should be hit on the head with a chair raki05 1 Link to comment
