h4te Posted May 8, 2008 Share Posted May 8, 2008 yeah. it was a really odd choice. i guess captain MOM = team MOM. that could be the only rationale. both openers got 40ish runs and Morkel didn't 'outright' win the match. so, idk. imo, Gambhir deserved it, even if his team lost. who cares that they lost, it was a brilliant innings and almost a match winning one.
