Don Sharma
Utd will do well to finish in the top three, let alone win it. Btw Ganso > Sandro. He and Neymar are the future of Brazilian football. But, it will take sometime before we see the duo play for a top European club as their release clause demands huge sums.

Darren Anthony
I think it’s a good combination of soccer news and crick info. I wonder what’s left here, is it baseball or motorsports but still quite informative thread.

King Tendulkar
Selling Carvalhio is a distarious move by Chelsea. He is better then terry and has been for last 5 years. Just does not get the hype from english media as terry does. terry looks pants sometimes with the defeders defender carvalhio is not in team. Chelsea have no adequate replacement. Great signing by Madrid as will be decent for at least 2 seasons. This sale of the imperious Carvalhi means KT predicts that Chelsea will not win the league now. Terrible sale. Alex will be 1st choice now, he is good but now carvalhio

Don Sharma
Another unknown protege...an attacking midfielder/II striker Manchester United have announced that they have agreed a deal to sign Portuguese striker Bebe from Vitoria de Guimaraes for an undisclosed fee. (alleged price ~ £7.4m) The striker, whose full name is Tiago Manuel Dias Correia, was raised in an orphanage has represented Portugal at the homeless World Cup after spending time on the streets as a child. He only joined Guimaraes on a five year deal from Estrala da Amadora five weeks ago, with reports suggesting that United have met the release clause in his contract. United confirmed the deal on their official website this evening, with the player still to undergo a medical later this week. "Manchester United is pleased to announce it has reached agreement with Portuguese club Vitoria de Guimaraes for the purchase of 20-year-old striker Tiago Manuel Dias Correia (better known as "Bebe") for an undisclosed fee, subject to a successful medical in Manchester later this week. Personal terms have been agreed with the Cacém-born (Portugal) forward." Bebe is the third player to arrive at Old Trafford this summer after the signings of Chris Smalling from Fulham and Javier Hernandez from Chivas. ===================================================================== What a background! I sincerely hope he does well. Reportedly, Bebe was recommended to SAF by his former asst. Carlos Queiroz. Ferguson only met the striker the day before the transfer. I think that seals the door for the perceived Ozil transfer :(
Don Sharma
Chelsea have targeted David Luiz as Carvalho replacement. I am not sure if he would be able to slot in right away. Chelsea would hope that JT has an injury free season, if not, they could be in serious trouble. Btw the Ramires signing was a quality one by Ancelotti. The former Benfica MF is young and would add more depth to the aging Chelsea squad. Now, if they can sign Neymar/Ozil, we are talking about a possible treble winners here.
