He may have got runs in this Aussie home summer, but he's had enormous luck, no idea how he survived against SA, they looked to have him worked out. We shall see! Link to comment

A true-bounce pitch (which almost all australian grounds are) that is sun-baked and has no movement off the seam is far easier to bat on than the subcontinental dust bowls, since in the subcontinent, atleast spinners get something out of the dustbowls and clever pacers can vary pace (as the ball doesn't come on to the bat as predictably). On the other hand, whenever Australia faces a real bowling unit, it throws up total batting paradises where 600/3 is not a problem for even the middle-weight batsmen,nevermind the great ones. Plus you will see that most of the Aussie 'great' batsmen of the recent times- Hayden, Ponting, Hussey,Langer,etc. are all home-track bullies, far more so than the so-called 'Indian hometrack bullies'. Australia dont have quality spinners but Indian spinners are not experienced and accomplished either. Link to comment

We could not handle anderson at 130-140ks and we will have to face guys like siddle,Pattinson,Starc at 135-145ks and at that pace reverse swing will be deadly. Link to comment

I don't see them picking three pacers and Lyone is decent on turners. Beer might be their second spinner if Warnie doesn't have any crazy plans. Clarke would be a good part timer. Except for Perth, all Australian tracks were pattas on which an in form batting line up of Sehwag, Dravid, Tendulkar, and Laxman would have regularly scored 450+ runs as they did on previous tours. And if they were celebrating the World Cup win after being thrashed 0-4 in England they need to get some stones removed from their heads. Link to comment
