Nikhil_cric
Really missing Umesh Yadav here. Kuldeep getting milked like a cow. vishalvirsingh, Mosher and Rightarmfast 3 Link to comment
Nikhil_cric
Our fast bowlers, including Shami , are too short to get bounce from a good length. Even if they are accurate, they are easier to hit. Contrast that to Woakes - 6'2", Jimmy - 6'2" and. Broad 6'5" and there is just no comparison . Link to comment

Hussain and Holding were discussing yesterday that a medium height and medium sized guy like Woakes can still get a lot of purchase from the pitch due to rhythm and coordination of bowling action.  Ishant is 6'5"  and Hardik 6'1".  The batting conditions are far easier today and that has made a big difference. Link to comment

Yup, apart from Shami who has taken wicket per every 20 runs, the rest have been pathetic given the context of low scoring match. Can't have average and SR so high in low scoring conditions. But in England, he has not hit the deck hard as he normally does ... probably due to instructions from coach and co. Â He is known for his hostile bouncers ... which he uses often in every series ... but we have hardly seen a good bouncer this series. Trying to chsnge bowling styles of bowlers is never a good idea. Straight Drive
One has 46 runs per wicket other has 38 run for a wicket. 2 do not even have wickets. The avg and sr are poor in scheme of things. Now whatever wickets are taken from here has become irrelevant as match is lost with lead of 97. Straight Drive
Ishant 5 for 51 was excellent in terms of average and sr. Shami 3 for 60 is excellent. Think Ashwin was effective I'm similar ways in first test. Those where 3 efficient bowling figures. Apart from that it's been poor. Link to comment

vishalvirsingh
every one will criticise kuldeep and ashwin but the track has no assistance and spinners will fail here...out team management had to play 4 regular pacers here but only shammi and ishant are holding the work load with hardik supporting..ashwin and kuldeep are ineffective on this track express bowling 1 Link to comment
Rightarmfast
Hardik supporting? We needed regular 4 pacers, not a bits and pieces bowler. Link to comment
