Fark either Italian league is really chit now or Bayern is making the German league look too easy. Bit of both I think. Bayern is scary atm, like 5+ goals every game and rarely concede. Stole Gotze, Neuer, Lewandowski. Any talent coming through German league (which is alot right now) is stolen by Bayern. Now they will steal Reus. Yeah you have to make adjustments can't play like u play every other team. Simeone's first goal is to make it difficult for opposition. Like crowding out Tevez vs Juve. Game was so dead. His first goal is to make it difficult for opposition and then to find ways to score. Pushed men forward for 20 mins got goal then back to killing game. City are trying to play same way they did vs every other team in PL and I reckon unless you are on level of Barca, Bayern which City are not u have to accept u may be on backfoot and need to sit back and counter. City imo don't have a Plan B, Chelsea, Real can change way they play. City comfortably beaten by Barca last year. Dominated by Bayern this year. Pellegrini isn't in the same class as other UCL winning tacticians. Coach like Mourinho would have made adjustments when he wasn't the favorite. City to me are no better than they were last year on paper. I just get feeling if they don't accept they will be dominated and do something about it nothing will change vs Barca or Bayern this year as well...that's what I think but lets see. Old guy Posted October 22, 2014 Share Posted October 22, 2014 i agree...i do think they have lot of quality and on their day can dominate others but you do not do that consistently enough to win tournament..they might win 3-4 times out of 10 but that is not enough... also they seem to choke and give away leads which is surprising ... about athletico madrid ...they are bit like chelsea (only more defensive compared to this season ) stil do not know why they sell all their strikers and this year they kind of are paying for it with most goals coming from free kicks or corners Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
