  1. Most days spent as #1 Batsman (since 1970) Big Thanks to @Gollum for valuable feedback & motivating me to make this video. I will post days spent as batsman for longer span, as well as bowler & team related stats video in this thread soon.

  2. Amazing player, definition of a clutch batsman. At one point of time I was foolish enough to rate Virat at par or better than him because of Virat's so called superhuman stats & 50 averages in multiple formats. Great I got rid of that fallacy. Virat is good but this guy is bonafide legend. You are right about the Indian series in 2017, if Warner had supported him they might have taken that series away.

  3. 774 runs in Ashes 2019 after one year ban, he missed a test and got concussed in another one (Labuschagne made his entry), so yeah 7 innings Though his greatest feat was 499 runs in India (2017), next highest by an Aussies was 232 LINK No wonder he got closest to Don, 947 peak rating (2nd highest of all time, Don 961), consistently maintains 900+ rating. Privilege to watch the legend in action.

  9. My list of the 15 best left-handed cricketers of all in order of merit.Posted in commemoration of International left handers day. 1.Gary Sobers-Allround cricketing skill to heights of divinity.Figures simply don't tell the story.Could turn a game 360 degrees.50 years ago took a allround cricketing performance to a scale unequalled when scoring 583 runs and capturing 21 scalps. In England in 1966 achieved heroics no one ever did when capturing 20 wickets and scoring 722 runs.Had as much a repertoire of strokes as any batsman ,more versatile than any bowler and could pull off the most incredi

Sachin- debut in 1989, by 1993 one of the best batsmen in the world. Gavaskar-,4 years in one of the greatest bats in the world, had one of the greatest series of all time Kohli- debut 2008-2009 but became permenant member around 2010, 2-3 years from there, one of the best in the world Rohit- year 1 of debut won India 2 tournaments with his contributions WT20 and CB series. 16. Doesn't he bat at 7 in thr ipl too?Or may be no.6 but still has a number of high scores there.Thats what I expect from him in t20is too ,but he hasn't delivered. Secondly I have followed his career and he has potential to be a good test allrounder, can be as good as a specialist batsman in asian conditions and a good package in SENA conditions. But his attitude pulls him back,I remember reading an interview where he clearly said that his body was not yet capable of playing test cricket but was ready to play ipl. There's just too much hype, his achievements do not deserve th

  19. GR Viswanath in 1974-75 against WI was epic. His back to back 139 and 97*, both made Wisden's all time knocks list. And Amarnath in 1982 was in God mode.

  20. As for favorite 500 or more runs series performance(s) esp. in drawn or win series: a) Gavaskar in WI to bring Ind its first series win b) VVS v Aus at home c) Pujara in Aus to help Ind win in Aus for the first time If I have to pick one - probably Pujara’s .... Best knock among these - VVS’s Now we need someone to do that in SA to win a series there!

  21. Good, eager to see the results. Hope you find a way past this. Not many top ranked players, maybe 6-7 each from batting/bowling. Sure take your time, was just a suggestion, ignore it if it is too difficult.

  24. Thanks for great feedback. I really appreciate it. 1. Will increase font and contrast for upcoming video. 2. Reason for not adding pic of #1 ranked player at that time is copyrights. I have lost couple of accounts due to that and i can't take any random player images available on google. Most free ones are crap and paid ones cost in thousand each. Looking for solutions for this. 3. I will make sure to look at your other suggestions while making future videos. Thanks again for taking time to write such a valuable feedback. Also, idk if it's worth it but looking

  25. @NikolaIf you have time do make one for the team test rankings. I have seen similar videos for tennis, chess, football with millions of views. Happy to see an ICFer do for test cricket, that too both batting and bowling. These videos deserve more views. And if OP can extend them to beyond one decade and include team rankings these should be the most viewed cricket related videos on YT. Hope ICFers appreciate this effort, we need to make this guy more popular. @sandeep @Trichromatic @Cricketics @jalebi_bhai can we put this in the articles page and with OP's permission,

  26. Rohit Sharma quite impressive. Only 4 innings, over 500 runs and most importantly India won all three matches. A supreme batsman is sub continent conditions, should have been given a place in starting 11 a lot more than he has been in test cricket.

  31. Ganguly has better records than half of them.. if he was not a captain he wd hv scored around 8500 test runs. Also hayden chanderpaul. Saeed anwar lol. And what do you mean by left handed. Some bat right bowl left and vice versa.. stuart broad jimmy anderson both left handed bats but right handed bowling.. zak batted right bowled left.. and he was the best fast bowler India has ever produced.

  39. Not ugly, see the other side of it, how he taunts even the best bowlers, how he leaves the ball after elaborate Kuchipudi. Smith is not just the greatest modern day bat but also the #1 troll. I used to hate him but now see the funny side, total entertainment package that guy.
