  1. Talking about refusing to budge, he did on several occasions when asked by the captain to take first strike. What was he afraid of Such was sach's power. He used his star ability to full effect. He whined when RD declared with him on 194. Whining never stopped. he went on to whine about in his own book 10 years after the incident. He did the same when DK happened to finish the game disallowing genius to score yet another ton. https://www.thehindu.com/sport/cricket/lsquoKarthik-shouldrsquove-allowed-Sachin-to-complete-tonrsquo/article16854744.ece#! 2. Watch PRASIDH bowl from 35 minutes onwards. You will get to see him bowl 2 full overs, albeit in a T20. See his combination of pace, bounce and seam movement. How do we leave such a pacer out of a SENA tour !! He is not even picked as a net bowler. https://www.hotstar.com/in/sports/cricket/karnataka-premier-league-2019/final-tuskers-vs-tigers/1440001931

  4. There are so many fools on Twitter suggesting, why not select best domestic performer Lord Unadkat as he topped the charts? So?if stats were everything we should assemble an All Trundler Attack, with SG having serpentine elegant movement Coming back to this series, one thing is for sure,There will be no Saini in Sydney as TM have now found an excuse, poor newcomer Bujurg Thakur being a good nice studious kid will be hurling thunderbolts at SCG

  5. Eye opening thread. We must stop rating IVAR now considering he averages a paltry 44 in the middle order across 85 matches . That's a significant sample almost covering 70% of his career. Within his era, Miandad, Abbas, Border, Vengsarkar, Saleem Malik, Azhar, Clive Lloyd, Crowe all have better numbers than Viv in the MO with Miandad almost 10 pts higher (53 > 44). In fact, Viv barely gets in the top 10 MO bats of his era and is not even the best in his own team . Since he batted in the MO for the vast majority of his career, it's only fair that we only compare hi

  8. TFS @express bowling bro. But must admit its difficult to form any impression with these T20 highlights. Need to see these guys in rythym during Ranji season. I remember Karthik Tyagi from @rkt.india insta embedded videos that he used to share. Felt that he was more of a zippy bowler like Umesh. He seems to have grown in height and has become the hit the deck type bowler.

  14. Starc is quicker than most test bowlers in the world barring Archer, Nortje and maybe Wood. Cummins has bowled a tad quicker than Bumrah in terms of average pace on this tour. But Bumrah had been quicker or than Cummins on other occasions. On our test tour to Australia in 2018-19 ... Bumrah was consistently quicker than Cummins. Bowled atleast 15 deliveries above 150 k with a fastest of 153.3 k Cummins bowled a fastest of 147 k. Bumrah was faster in terms of average pace too. Even in 2020, Bumr

  18. All great batsmen from the top of the mind recall have played in the top order in tests - Bradman, Sobers (in fact batted at most positions), Richards, Lara, Ponting, Kallis, .... , so they may have a better case for an place in an AT 11 than Sachin, whose avg falls dramatically when he comes in to play when the ball is relatively harder. Usually, his avg improves when he walks in at a score of 100 or more

  22. Shardul succeeded with his slower balls. Won't work in tests. In fact, over-dependence on slower balls does not work for long in limited over matches either ... as the great Unadkat found out.

  23. If Tendulkar walked in at 20/2, playing fresh bowlers with red cherry, his avg falls to 41 (overall roughly 43 when the score is 99 or less. 7641 runs in 178 innings so a huge sample size) .... Shuts his case for a place in an ATG 11 in my book The above are cold heart breaking smell the coffee facts

One of the best few moments of those half - yearly holidays from school. He was just 23 when he played this knock. No bullshit blocking when the team is at 58/5. If one starts blockin at 58/5 we'd have ended up losing it by an innings margin. Offense is the best defense. What shots Partner in crime, fixing master Azhar also deserves a special mention.

When most of the world is constrained with lockdowns, restrictions, and other precautionary measures (like not more than 2 in an elevator), it would mean something to walk down the streets of Brisbane normally without worrying about the pandemic (Here I see many ppl even at midnight with no one around wearing masks) Subcon is relatively relaxed when it comes to observing laws. At times, the more popular you are, the more willing the society is to make exceptions for you for not following the laws (Salman Khan for e.g. w

Yes Gabba is a hard venue to play in but if you want to be the best test team you will strive to do well in all venues you play and the aim should be self belief to beat the aussies in their Fortress.. thats the mentality top teams have.. not the chicken **** jubilation of a cop out some fans are displaying here. 36. Yes exactly Jamieson type. Saying that its a masterstroke from TM. The whole focus shifts from the fan exposed dinner party saga to Brisbane. It has put direct pressure so that even a minister spoke out. Now this will play out in public and queensland government will be riled. In 24 hours the whole dynamic has changed. NSW ie sydney will be chomping to get the 4th test as its administrator already mentioned they are ready. Wah Ravi bhai vah. Played one city against another. Hats off to your single malt..

  40. They are just asking to follow a strict bubble during their stay which is to keep themselves limited to ground and hotel. However that is not favoured by these brats as they feel it is their primary job to go out shopping and flirting with crowd while the representation for national team comes as secondary. This is what happens when you give chances to players in a platter because of their connections rather than abilities.

  45. 3 days gap between 3rd and 4th test. They'll probably land in Brisbane 1.5 days before start of the test. 4-5 days of play and then they'll fly back to India a day or two later. So why can't they follow strict rules for those 1.5 days, not like they will be attending U2 concerts during match days. Disgraceful if they chicken out of the Gabba test.

  47. Is this for real? Against the header "public holiday" a surcharge of 10% of the total is levied on the patrons. The Government of Australia discourages people to eat out on public holidays? Regular fare or only during covid? Fascinating method to keep people away from public places. Levy a surcharge on activities in public places.
