  1. The Greatest Test Series Victory in out history. Winning a test series in Australia. Australia full strength. Formidable bowling attack of Cummins, Starc, Hazlewood and Lyon in their own backyard. India missing Kohli ... Shami ... Ishant ... Jadeja Bumrah ... Ashwin missing in the final test COVID did not allow new players to be flown in Battling injuries and playing with broken bones and torn muscles. Newbies coming in and making a statement !! The grit ... the fight ... the aggression

This got to be new low for Bewda.. revealing team plans to his drinking buddies before the series starts..

Changed the momentum in the MCG test helped india draw at sydney and helped us win here at the gabba on a 5th day pitch where Australia hasn’t lost since 1988 do I need to say anything more?

  4. Rot started with MSD but since he is gone let us focus on Wrogn. 1. Got Kumble fired, enter Shastri and his cronies. Firstly in which other team sport does the captain choose coach/manager? GOAT Federer once played under some high school coach in Swiss Davis Cup matches, Carlsen plays Olympiad under a person who he used to thrash as a 9 yo, Zidane/Ronaldo/Beckham etc never had any say about selection of coaches/managers. Jordan and some of his illustrious teammates didn't play another season for Bulls since they didn't want to play without Phil Jackson, honorable thing to do. Ok th

  5. Against an ATG attack, 4th innings saving a test, semi-new ball when they came in together, enormous pressure, not much batting left. Vihari's hamstring injured, Ash took some brutal body blows esp against Cummins, rode their luck a little bit but as they say fortune favours the brave. Enormous mental strength, outstanding application, balls of steel!!!!! Vihari 23*(161); 3h 45 min Ashwin 39*(128); 3h 20 min Both knocks worth more than daddy 100s 62*(258) will be remembered for a long long time.

  7. One of the most enjoyable things in cricket is watching a high quality batsman dominate top class fast bowlers and spinners with dazzling stroke play. It becomes even more enjoyable when the conditions are favouring bowlers more. Right from Viv Richards to Sachin Tendulkar, Brian Lara, Ricky Ponting, Viru Sehwag to the next generation of Virat Kohli and Steve Smith ... these high quality batters have entertained us over the years. I am tired of watching T20 hacks, with little ability to tackle high quality bowling, hit bowlers on the flattest of flat pitches ... in co

  10. Almost Everyone(including me) said India defeated australian side in 2018 when it missed warner and smith. And there is some truth to it. By the same logic history should be remembered for what this great indian team achieved without its best batsman (kohli), first line bowling attack (ishanth, shami and umesh) injured players jadeja and kl rahul. Let the records say India played without half its first side and it still maintained to draw against a full strength aussie side. A full strength bowling side couldn't get indian batsmen out bowling for 130 overs. Enjoy fans t

  11. Has to be the meekest and weakest Ind middle order since oooh the 80s. Dot ball after dot ball, no intent to score, no cashing in on the bad balls, letting the bowlers bowl to plans and zero innovation. What exactly is the end game here? And to top it all, so so boring to watch. If Covid has not terminally damaged test cricket then having to watch these three bat will push it over the edge. .

  12. Don't take these Sathaye, Boria, Gaurav Kapoor etc. seriously, these are intellectually dishonest guys. Indian cricketers don't do interviews with any random journalists these days, there is a specific coterie who get the time to interview these crickters. It's a sort of quid pro quo, you hail us to the limits, we will give you views with our presence.

  13. Aditi, Bajrang, Neeraj: all 3 were phenomenal today. Neeraj cemented his status as India's greatest individual athlete, nobody comes close. Bajrang crushed his formidable opponent to get bronze, with an injured knee. Aditi the world number 200 took the fight to the best golfers in the world and was millimeters away from causing the most stunning upset in India's Olympics history. Jai Hind guys, India has well and truly arrived on the world stage in sports. * results, we saw the quality and guts that was on display throughout the fortnight, con

    Its OK.

Yes it’s ok to get knocked out by Pakistan in a humiliating fashion. It’s ok to be humbled by Newzealand, it’s ok to be bowled out for 36, it’s ok to lose the WTC. Let’s make this the official it’s ok thread. Also I will root for India through wins and loses is not a new gimmick. Everyone on here wants India to win that’s why we are on here. However it is foolish when you have an emotional and monetary investment (paying for subscriptions etc) not to react .its people’s right to be pissed.

RR 2.35 Gill 72(125), Pujara 11(101) First real acceleration. 5 overs 24 runs mainly due to Gill who scored 15 runs in next 11 balls and Pujara scored 3 in 14 balls. Always contributes, a team man and always happy for his team mates. The poster boy for every hard working cricketer. This man is the role model we deserve. About time he gets the respect he deserves.

  21. Kohli left Australian shores with India on new low of folding under 40 runs in last innings of Pink ball test and many of the regular guys getting injured on regular basis , didn't help either But ever since his departure ,went away the negativity and mental fatigue of Indians they restarted Mission Resurrection and emerged victorious where visitors seldomly taste success Now in India he returns and thus returns the mediocrity, negativity and what not,we succumbed to shameful loss where just months ago we pulled off one of the best rear guard action against all odds in fo

  24. Our campaign over, finished on a high. This Olympics thread is the GOAT thread on ICF, so many highs, emotions, excitement, sense of togetherness etc. as we cheered on our athletes. Waking up at 3 am to discuss the day's upcoming events, then discussing India's performance throughout the day, wonderful memories. Never thought Gabba test match thread could be topped. But here it is. Hope this is topped by Paris 2024 Summer Olympics thread. We can open that thread one year in advance and track all our prospects, follow them right from the qualification process.

  27. This Team Management seems to lack Foresight, Clear Thought Process, Good Strategies, Effective Tactics, Proper Talent Identification and Backing those talents • In this 1st test, they have filled our batting line up with consolidators against pace bowling. Apart from Kohli ( and an out of form Shaw ) there were no other batters in the top 7 who can score fast against pace bowling. No one to counter-attack if needed, to put pressure back on Australia. In form Gill and Pant warmed the bench. • In the 1st test, they have not included any left handers in the top 7, to disrup

We have had biggest of the biggest name but cricket is always a team game and this has been a side of 11 players not individual big names. Look at the series or circumstances Melbourne Ur biggest batsman returns home after 36 all out No Ishant and Shami We loose Umesh in between the match as well Rahane under massive pressure for his own form But despite all this the team won Sydney

  33. Kohli is and will be always a Average captain in Tests and Bad captain in LOIs. His LOIs captaincy we all know is down to him being bad at strategizing and various other reasons, but will give my thoughts on Tests for now. Tests Chopping and changing: Kohli is someone who will take responsibility as a batsman and will expect other players and batsmen to do the same, which on the surface looks fine. But then Kohli doesn't realise that for players especially batsmen it is very important that they are not playing for their place each time they get on the field. It takes one

  34. MI now has reached the stage, anyone can come & captain, they will be lethal. But the credit goes to Rohit for shaping this team along with Jayawardene. This is one of major roles of a leader, built a team & legacy & Rohit has done it. Dhoni did it with CSK & Rohit has taken it one step ahead with MI. King Kohli's mantra of leadership is mouthing off the opposing batsman after his bowlers gets wickets & giving himself & AB all the importance in the name of team. That's why is a perennial loser.

There are 2 kinds of wrestling events in Olympics, Greco-Roman and Freestyle. Greco-Roman (GR)=Upper Body, nothing doing below the waist Freestyle=Whole body comes into picture Men hav
