  1. Property purchases brings a lot of tax revenue from Mumbai."Stamp Duty" and "Registration fee" for property collection is huge on a daily basis for just Mumbai. We are not even talking of rest of Maharashtra which is huge. In fact Maharashtra government can get more tax if the tax is also levied on 'cash money' paid by Mumbaikars. But no body is dumb to show the actual property value and cash money to avoid taxes. So much tax can be avoided if you pay hard cash. Hard cash is the real deal and tax saver, yet even whatever is recieved on daily basis by the 'Inspector general of registration' department of Maharashtra government is a large amount Then there is property tax which one pays on every house on an annual basis. I am not a tax expert but I don't think that what goes to Maharashtra government can be diverted to other states use.
  2. I was shocked to see that only a few on this forum were really happy with the major wins by India since 2024. T20 win then the Asia cup win, then the CT win, only few were upbeat here. This probably emnates from the nature of no matter what the team wins, the team needs to be critcized just for the sake of it. Some cannot be happy of the fact that our team has won major global tournaments in last 23 months. Good they are irrelevant voice of the nation and 50 posters criticizing the successful team does not makes any difference to the unity of lakhs of people who are not using forums for doing timepass and critize even the trophy wins . These 50 odd critics are easily outnumbered by a bike or car or walking rally/ gathering to celebrate in one area itself after an Indian win. The point is these 50 critics do not matter in a criciket crazy country like India. Thank god they are not more than 50 odd and their thoughts on forums are not the guiding light of a team which is winning some high profile tourneys. Be it under Dravid or Gambhir or Shastri or anyone else, we need to take pride in wins and support when our team is winning atleast. Freedom of speech and criticism is fine and it suits more for the losses. Don't look sadness in the moments of happiness.
  3. Series on the line and one would expect the seniormost specialist batsmen in the team to stand up. Scores 22 and 6.
  4. Excluding this test against SA, Dhruv Jurel has played 8 tests and averages 41.54 with the bat. Not a bad start at all.
  5. Such desperate people spoiling the name of India. India needs strong laes at home to cultivate sense / force these people to respect others. Jagjit Singh, a 51-year-old Indian man, who came to Canada on a temporary visa to see his newborn grandchild, , was convicted of criminally harassing two teenage girls outside their school. Singh was arrested on September 16 and was charged with sexual interference and sexual assault. http://m.timesofindia.com/articleshow/125519902.cms?utm_source=contentofinterest&utm_medium=text&utm_campaign=cppst
  6. Needs to improve his game by playing FC cricket. Currently his selection is not justified in test format. Batting average - 29.68 8 wickets in 13 innings Biwling avg - 39.62 Bowlingvstrike rate - 57
  7. Oh Boy, the drama with his dad touching Sunny's feet on Australia tour. Even past Indian greats never did such over the board celebrations involving family members. Indeed like you mentioned, he needs to be sent packing to play domestic cricket.
  8. In last 2 years he has played 20 tests. Has average of 43.28 So his overall test average after 46 test must have been below the current test average of 36.26. Even Jadeja who has stats of as specialist bowler has better test average than Rahul. Washington Sundar also has batting avg of 43 and he is an all rounder. Whereas Rahul as specialist batsman is averaging 36.
  9. Against Jammu & Kashmir 1st innings - 42 2nd innings - 32 Against Chhattisgarh 1st innings - 1 2nd innings - DNB Against Rajasthan 1st innings - 15 2nd innings - 19* Against Himachal Pradesh 1st innings - 16 2nd innings - Yet to bat Against Puducherry 1st innings - 67 2nd innings - TDNB
  10. After playing 66 tests, he is the 8th best batsman amongst test batsman from the current crop. Only better than Sai Sudarshan in this lineup. Test batting averages: Yashasvi Jaiswal - 49.79 Rishabh Pant - 43.74 Washington Sundar - 43.21 Shubman Gill - 43.07 Dhruv Jurel - 41 54 Ravindra Jadeja - 38.42 Sarfaraz Khan - 37.10 KL Rahul - 36.26 Sai Sudarshan - 30.33
  11. Noticed that he has taken 4 wickets in last 4 tests. Wicketless in the first SA batting innings so far in Guwahati test. His test bowling average is 32 and strike rate is 58.7 But he does has third best batting average of 43.21 which is almost near to second best test batsman Rishabh Pant (43.74).
  12. Washington Sundar has test batting average of 30.34 whereas that of Sai Sudarshan is 30.33. A diferrence of .01 which is very negligible. There is nothing to say that one is better than the other in terms of runs scored. Both are giving similar perfirmances with the bat in test format.
  13. Health should not be a matter of concern for someone who has eaten so much of 'Chaara'. So much of natural, unadulterated, and organic food consumed by him.
  14. Scene from movie 'Loha'. Tumhari yeh goli lohe ke is sharir paar nahi ja sakti He says this dialogue after he puts his hand up and catches the bullet which Rami Reddy shoots from his gun.
  15. Against Jammu & Kashmir 1st innings - 42 2nd innings - 32 Against Chhattisgarh 1st innings - 1 2nd innings - DNB Against Rajasthan 1st innings - 15 2nd innings - 19* Against Himachal Pradesh 1st innings - 16 2nd innings - Yet to bat Against Puducherry 1st innings - 67 2nd innings - Yet to bat
