Might be my dad's most favorite movie. But I never sat through the entire thing. I do remember the movie being very grounded and it does have a very memorable and strong ending scene.

I watched that movie with zero expectations, so loved it. Whose acting let you down? Do you understand Tamil? I relied on subtitles, so can't really comment on the dialogues.

I too got 1st dose of Covishield along with my wife, her cousin and her brother. All of us got fever, body pains, fatigue for 1-2 days.

My brother-in-law and myself had this weird mild headache for another 1-2 days. It felt like somewhere in the middle of the upper part of my head. Felt little numb as well. Never experienced such a headache before. So it has to be the vaccine.

The only Emraan movie I have ever seen is Shanghai. Before that, I thought he was a dud actor. I quite enjoyed his acting but going by the comments here, I guess it was just an aberration.

My situation is worse. My dad's childhood friend is in Healthcare industry. He is in some top position and had niche clients like tollywood celebs and all. My dad trusts him so much but I feel he is just a quack who siphons money from the gullible rich.
He talked my dad out from taking the jab when it was available. Both my parents got infected and recovered but now when they are ready to take the jabs, it is not easily available.

Well today I got caught by the wonderful Hyderabad police. Even though I personally disagree with the rule but I see the point.

But here is the problem. The cop asked me to step out of my car while his mask was below his nose. I wore my mask and then opened the car door, 2 other cops ganged on me and told me to remove my mask so that they can take my pic. That ticked me off. I sternly told the first cop to first wear his own mask properly and told him he is risking the virus spread. These incompetent idiots were not understanding the point I was trying to make. Why the eff will I remove the mask right in front of the unmasked cop. I stood my ground and the other cop distracted me while he wore his mask. They took my phone number and sent a 1k e-challan to me.

The problem here is you are projecting your personal experience as a universal truth for all religions.

I consider myself an Atheist and coming out to my family has been underwhelming and the consequences of being an Atheist Hindu are none. I am sure a more conservative family might have reacted differently but Atheism, in general, is not a big deal.

Also there is no fear factor. You are not doomed to eternal hell in Hinduism for being an Atheist.

My parents, my sister and my brother-in-law got Covid last month and recovered.

I was more worried about my mother as she is a diabetic. But even she showed only mild symptoms and recovered without any issues. I think it's more because of her disciplined life style. Yoga, walking and good diet.

I got negative around the same time but couple of days back I got fever and cold but recovered. My wife is fine. I expected it to be due to seasonal change. But I lost sense of taste and I suspect I could have Covid too.
