After 67 Tests, Kohli has done plenty and even better than Sachin, so dont understand why is he being put down. All this talk about Sachin is better than kohli because he debuted at 16 is just rubbish. Not everyone gets a chance to play early for lot of reasons. We are just lucky that punt on Sachin worked out well for us. He scored runs in domestic cricket for an year or two before debut and that is a very small window which is not given to lot of other Indian players as evident from current lot.

How are these figures even relevant ?   EVERY batsman needs a few years to mature as a test batsman.

 

In 1996, Tendulkar had a 7 year experience in tests.

 

You are comparing the peak period of one batsman with the first 3 years and then 4 peak years of another batter.
