The latter can be corrected but people and their cultural preferences are as much to blame as the government. And the fact that there are literally no functioning roads. And the fact that it's a completely unplanned crony city. And the fact that municipal corporations are most corrupt and inefficient. Even basic cleanliness is not in place. DKS might be owning half of Bengaluru but he think it's someone else's problem. It's shocking to think that India is fully betting on this city while the city admins are busy hoarding the money. It's was a surplus budget till 4 years back. Now they are well and truly in deficit with no visible improvement. randomGuy 1

That grid style planning seen in NCR and Chandigarh will never work here and anyway NCR sprawl is crazy and very car dependent, despite the metro. Bangalore really needed to densify it's core areas with high rises . It's the only option for development in Indian cities. But neither could it do that , partly because of HAL and Jakkur enforcing low FSI. I wouldn't put a political spin on this because whenever proposals have come up for the same, it's usually BJP voting South Bangalore and it's RWA's etc. who keep opposing this. Organic cities in and of themselves are not the problem. You can see plenty of radial cities that are high functioning. Artificially restricting housing supply and strict, illogical zoning is the problem. Edited June 17 by Nikhil_cric

Then people can make informed decision. If you think 20 journalist can vote and change outcome then I really don't want to waste time debating you. Do you mean to say our feku pm does not take journalist to caves where he meditates...he has no balls to face media but he takes his media ass lickers to temples and meditation caves...so that as the country burns we cns all see the gujju BJP supporters garland him on foreign trips...his entire economy is based on adani and ambani lobbying and bribes..so spare me sermonizing about someone traveling on air India...all these journalist have enough money to afford a business class trip...no one is arguing that they are not biased but having a tough press ensures BJP is held accountable and the country is not sold out to the party. Same as MMS sat down with Arnab ...that's called press freedom. Why doesn't modi sit down again with karan thapar and prove me wrong. BJP is winning because of weak opposition..that is true...but their ability to centralized power has enabled them to destroy free press and use govt agencies to break up opposition parties and whitewash criminals rapists and murderers in their own party..it's a party without ethics that is destroying the country and the people unless economically hit will not be aware...I am glad that the currency issue tarrifs and all the corruption is finally impacting common people so that these frauds are unmasked. These shameless leeches talk about dynasty politics and have zero shame to appoint jay shah as bcci and icc chief. Before Modi became PM in 2014, he has given many press conferences, attended many press/media conclaves, and has taken hardball questions. But in every single one of them, every journalist would ask the same questions about 2002. In many interviews after he became p.m. he has told that he would never give a press conference as PM because of this same old BS that the press wants to ask. India did move on from 2002 when they elected him and two times later too. it is not like india is only electing BJP. Congress and regional parties have flipped BJP governments in many states and even in 2024 BJP has been reduced to a minority government. It is not because of media attention on Modi, but the success of democratic system of India, the water who decides in Chile. All this BS about press being fourth pillar of democracy is just people in media thinking too much of themselves. Media is the only part of democracy, which is not elected by the people. Only some influential rich people form this media and they think they can question any government that is elected by the people. Even in highly functional democracy like US media is used by the politician to throw mud on each other, to bring down Electric people, and that is all politicians use press for their own gain, and media is the most corrupted organization in the entire world. Nobody in the world follows ideal journalism that will focus on real issues.

Even roads that well looking beautiful earlier are not maintained. This is because of the comment running out of money for development in the last three years. It is glaring now more than ever.

RaGa looks like Einstein compared to this Nepo kid. Tilak is from kumkum which is made by mixing turmeric and sunna (staked lime) it is not from saffron (zafran) , saffron is too expensive to use it like Tilak. Most of saffron india uses is from Kashmir and also from Iran. What a dumb idiot. @randomGuy Edited July 9 by coffee_rules
