Hopefully law of averages will come into play for him in the WC. One more win could have taken them to the playoffs. They should get rid of Alok Nath,Negi,Klassen & Southee next season.

... and umesh...

  • RCB Finishes at Last in Table.
  • Most drop catches in an ipl season ever (kohli tops list)
  • Lost 7 out of first 8 matches

Still not bad season as per kohli. That means he is hinting to rcb fans that they have potential to do worse than this for future seasons. Not good signs for RCB fans. :fear1:

How many drop catches by Kohli?

Some more stats although meaningless

Most tosses lost. Even in fair play award 6 out of 8 rank lol A comprehensively the worst season

RCB is a great lineup but only on the paper, says Vijay Mallya

During mallyas time he fired Dravid, appointed KP and then fired him too after losing first 4 games of 2009 .. atleast as the owner he didn't let the rock grow moss

RCB before Kohli was captain

7th, 2nd, 3rd, 2nd, 5th ... 5 seasons, 3 playoffs, 2 finals, 0 wooden spoons

RCB with Kohli as captain

5th, 7th, 3rd, 2nd, 8th, 6th, 8th ... 7 seasons, 2 playoffs, 1 final, 2 wooden spoons

Kumble on his last legs captained RCB for 2 seasons ... 1 final and 1 other playoff.

They had a test match team for the best part. Later on RCB even had Baz, Shane Watson, KL Rahul, Jadhav.

Gayle, starc, badree. They had great resources but were not able to use them for sure.
