Nice to see Avesh Khan getting a game. Comparing his and Saini's skill levels should be interesting.

 

The selectors seriously need to consider talent outside of Axar, Krunal, etc. for the SAR pool. We need proper spinners who can hit big from ball 1.

  I was thinking Vihari could be that one of top 6 main batsmen who can bowl 3-4 overs of spin. 

  But looking at his innings he does not seem to have the game where he can change gears . 

  I think  he could be a non-starter for that position by the looks of it.

Exactly..  Selectors should've picked Nitish Rana who at least is a big hitter & can bowl spin.

Though he is organized, he has a problem dealing with short-pitched stuff. Will be hard for him to be successful at the Intl level.

Nitish Rana is an astonishing hitter. He hits better than Pant and he is no slogger. Worth a gamble to test him in internationals. We desperately need a hitter in the middle order.
