There are conflicting reports.

Some says it can be a stress facture due to pain in back.

Though in one article Mayank's personal coach told its not a new injury and he is just being rested as a precautionary measure so that he can play vs England in the ODI series which will happen in February.

Hope he is back at his full potential, dont want him to be back half fit where he bowls with restrained at 135-145 to abod further injury. He should take his time like Bumrah and come fully fit to fire up the arena.

In FC, yes.

In T20's, I am not sure.

Doesn't matter, he is bowling no balls.

Speed won't be registered.

IMO, I don't think he is a 150k bowler. As quick as Kuldeep Sen at max (142-147k).

when he bowling all out then he is abl eto hit 150..but it also means he doesnt have any control at all..

but when he tries to control it..he is bowling at 140-142..

He will need to show control at 145+ and some movement too..as due to his short height he wont have good bounce..

He is certainly quick but speed measured on this Stalker sports radar can be taken seriously only if it doesn't have cosine setting on. Cosine setting makes speed higher than they actually are.

Doubt he has a future as a fast bowler unless he starts playing immediately.

He is quite short too.

Ind future will be hard, he is not even in any domestic team. And no IPL team is backing him not see that happening soon.

There will always be an issue with such kind of player who do not come from proper system. He is not picked by any IPL team.

Even if comes as injury replacement its not sure if he will get game time.

Bd are v.good side at this level constantly reaching SF/F at these level.

This is not going to happen but if at happens selectors(Ind)of whoever should only look at him as 4 over option nothing else.

Where he would need need some yorkers, few slower1s and 1/2 bouncer same like Rauf (pak). 

If he is able to bowl yorkers it will be hard to get under those because of his hort height and the pace 145+ kmph. and to add a surprise bumper.

 

He can be a defensive bowler in the middle and if batters go after him it can fetch some wkts.

Can't rely on youtube, few years back there were videos of some called ranjan kumar(don't remember his name correctly) from uttarakhand he was also picked u[ by RCB.The talk was that he was bowling at 145 consistently. And now he is no where to be seen.

Rajan Kumar was never touted to be 145.  People had already seen him nowl in domestic and knew he wasn't 145. It was Avinash Singh Manhas who was touted 145 and he does bowl 145 kph.
