Saha 0 Pant 7, who should play?

Recommended Posts

When the batting conditions get tough, get Pant in, when batting conditions are easy give the 35 year old Saha a run.

Same treatment given to Vihari. In easier batting conditions, give Jadeja a go at 6, in tougher batting conditions Vihari has to face the brunt.

Utterly shameful handling of youngsters. As I have said many times about this TM- ZERO vision, ZERO foresightedness, ZERO thinking.

Unfair to target Pant again and again, is there something we are missing? Right selection today. Saha will always be a keeping great and role model in his own right, but horses for courses here.

These shameful cowards didnt say a word when dhoni, who didnt even dive to our Pacers, kept getting selected over Saha in his prime

Not a single player in history has won anything g big at 19 or 20. Not even hyped Amir or shaw or even sachin. People recognize their talent when they score 150s in SENA. What a poor way of thinking

150 was a road and he hasn't done much after that. Just like Karun Nair after 300. And an 18 year old Yuvraj smoked 80 ball 84 against the legendary 2000 Australian team having Brett Lee and Mcgrawth in his debut match and won it. And even he had to go out of the team after a string of poor performances and had to wait to make a comeback. Pant is nowhere near him in terms of talent.

True. While he is correct in his comments this time , all of them conveniently ignored the injustice when Dhoni was playing ahead of Saha in Test between 2012-2015 which was Saha's peak moment. It's not that Dhoni deserved to be in the Test team as a captain either as his performance was even more questionable during that phase. I guess this is a classic example of benefits of having a strong PR engine working for off the field.

If we go by your logic...Sachin hasn't won a single WC till 38. So thanks to DHONI he has 1 WC next to his name.

:hysterical: Think he stood up in 2003 SF aswell how did that end up ? Only thing that happened was choke in both finals. Can't handle the big stage.

Poor snowflake can't even defend that choke that you started swearing and your usual nonsense! Getting so defensive :cantstop:
