Yashasvi Jaiswal for the 2023 WC

Dhawan - Gill is going to take opening position from him with his rise; Can he warm benches? His reflexes are bit slower and he is unable to play at good SR due to it. 

Gill - He will be in playing XI for WC2023 and could be leading scorer for India. 

Shaw - He is no where in the picture. He would have been ideal on these pitches for quick start. 

Ruturaj - His ceiling is not there given he is close to 26 and he hasn't made debut as of yet. When was last time someone made their debut after 26 and did well for long for India?

I say after because there's no way on earth the leeches at the top would allow these players to shine in a marquee tournament kn home soil.

One thing i like about him is responsibility. In the under-19 final he shut down his natural instinct and played very responsibly. Poor guy didn't get company from anybody.

Arshdeep bowls decently ,he is rested.

 

Chahal and Bhubaneshwar ,senior players are not rested.

 

Kuldeep Sen bowls well for A team ,he is rested but seniors Shardul and Rishi plays the game

So true. 

I am no fan of Dhoni's captaincy but he developed a strong team which never made it look like we were in rebuilding phase. Jadeja, Ashwin, Rohit, Kohli, Dhawan, Raina even Pandya and Bumrah got chances under him but this management is so deeply into eggsperience that they will call players from legends team rather than giving chances to youngsters

His story is like slum dog millionaire movie. From humble back ground. He has worked very hard to get here.

 

Hopefully he can continue the run making..ideally would like to see him and Gill at top of order for wc2023 but it's not going to happen knowing our selectors.

 

India would need as much as slow bowling options for next year home wc. Last time we won, we had multiple part timers in Yuvi, Sehwag, Raina, Sachin even Kolhi was doing dibbly dobblies. But current team there are many 1 dimensional players.
