Looking at this state, there will be a serious spike in positive cases in next few weeks. If travel is not restricted, it will spread all over. God save India! Same is happening here. We hardly had 100 cases before may 18 but people coming from Maharashtra, Delhi have just changed the equation.

randomGuy
I think states must be preparing beds/oxygen they are going to need soon... Ahmedabad 80 lac people n 1100 deaths till now... extrapolate to India... comes to 2 lac deaths... There should be no excuse that cases came from Delhi/mumbai for states' own lack of medical facilities, every state must get prepared now.. FischerTal
14,000 cases today. It would be criminal not to enforce a strict lockdown in Ahmedabad, Delhi, Mumbai, and chennai.

A person just died in my building trying to get admitted in 6 different hospitals.

The least Government can do is regulate Pvt hospitals.

States who are well planned with strong lockdowns have handled it well. Maharashtra has been basket case now only to be surpassed by Delhi. But maybe the things could flatten by end of the month. Seriously you people could go to any length to defend BJP. What about Ahmedabad ? What about TN ? and Delhi is jointly managed by Central government. Police is in their hand. Central government should had strictly enforced lockdown. MCD is also in their hand . What great preparations they have done for Covid.

Definately Karnataka and Kerala deserve credit for controlling Corona but still wait till the end. Many states like Haryana and UP are catching up in Corona race. Delhi , Mumbai , Ahmedabad , Chennai all are ruled by different parties but all have very high cases . It will be case study after the pandemic is over that which state did what thing right What I praised udhav for prompt action in regulating Pvt hospital rates. Max hospital rate card is circulated on SM and they are charging 72k per day for serious Covid patients.
