These are the people that your PakMil mafia has sold its soul to.  Simply because they wish to continue enmity with India at any cost.  So that they can keep looting you.  You said you were a businessman -do you know that CPEC loans (no aid) from China charge 10 times the interest rate that other loans that Pakistan gets from World Bank, IMF etc?  Did you know that Chinese company profits are guaranteed from all projects they build in Pakistan, and that Chinese companies are dumping old polluting electricity plants in Pakistan, at guaranteed high billing rates that they will charge Pakistani consumers?  And in a few years, Chinese companies will be allowed to buy massive amounts of farmland in Pakistan for agri-business.

Pakistan has made some spectacularly bad decisions in its "fraandship" with China.  China is not an Iron brother, its a gangster looking for suckers to exploit.

Whoa! did not know that. That's East India Company 2.0 (a more dangerous version of the British one)

All of OBOR and BRI is just that.  China had a massive surplus of construction companies and equipment sitting idle - it forces these OBOR countries to accept loans - which are then used to hire only chinese companies to build projects at guaranteed profits, using chinese equipment and labor.  AND on top of that, majority of the projects are designed to maximize the reach of chinese goods.  Roads, trains etc are built with the idea to lock in a cheap cost of transport for chinese products.  Mines are built to extract natural resources to be sent to China.  Where value-add is done, and finished products are sold at profit, all over the world and including where the source material came from.  Pakistan had a reasonably decent granite industry - they have the raw material after all - they used to do decent amount of export business.  Now its almost a gone case. The Chinese buy up the mines, and wholesale stock of raw material, ship it to China, polish it there, and now its exported from China, even sold back in Pakistan.  Local Pakistani companies cannot compete.  Industry sector destroyed, employment gone, businesses gone.  Win for China, loss for Pak.  "CPEC gonna make Pakistan great again".  Its a joke.  There's an odd power plant thrown in here and there, to make it look like "development", but even those are shyteey old tech, again built out by chinese companies for chinese profit.  In Pakistan's case, its like Enron was in Maharashtra - consumers are going to be paying locked-in high rates for 30 years, rates that are fixed not in Pakistani rupees, but on Chinese profitability terms.  Add a few cheap local bribes to this, so that local opposition is controlled, and voila.  Rinse, repeat.  From Pakistan, to Sri Lanka, to Africa, to Latin America.  Its the same template.

Is he really?  I know he hates PTI, and is a big PML(N) fan.  But don't know beyond that.

It is indeed East India Company all over again, our cotton shipped to Manchester mills and the finished goods being sold to us at profit of the empire. It's kind of sad what PakMil has done to the country, Jinnah may not have liked Hindus but at least he had a constructive vision of Pakistan, all ruined by their military.

This is true to a great extent.

Our local tile industry cannot compete with china or even iran.

China will now face extreme resistance in their OBOR ,BRI projects from at least Iran and Italy. These projects along with a lot more have come to a halt and inflicting monetary losses for china in billions .

Not sure if trade routes and trade deals will remain as cosy with the European market as it was in the past .

Japan ,I heard ,have already slashed chinese meat and other essential goods import by 35% .

It's time to slowly isolate china and put sanctions if possible ,looks tough though

But Chinese are in Africa, Pakistan, SE Asia, (taken over country’s economy) but they are not affected by the same scale as Italy.

In Africa, etc the Chinese population is mostly laborers who stay in on-site housing for factories and construction projects.  In Italy, there is lot mor co-mingling of population in urban areas.  A large-scale migration of chinese families for more than 10 years - lot of small-scale sewing and manufacturing shops that do outsourced labor and assembly of textiles, leather goods etc.

Estimates of 45,000 dead in Wuhan City alone - Lot of epidimiologists think that's a pretty accurate approximation, given the fatality rates in Italy, Spain and US.

CCP's lies about its numbers get more obvious every day, every hour.

Consider 42k dead and 3% fatility rate.

Actual number of infections turns out to be around 1.4m
