I wouldn’t be surprised to see foreign players leave UAE as they don’t want to take chances. And the repercussions of this if IPL gets cancelled that all other franchises bring a class action lawsuit against CSK for breaking bio sphere protocols before leaving India which has led to this.

I think given sums of money involved plus good medical facilies in uae most of them will stay put.

These are atheltes who are young. They will simply shrug of the virus

Far more worried about the older support staff.

recent studies have shown 60 to 70% of patients, even asymptotic ones, have shown signs of heart damage, like those who have had small or medium heart attacks. Even for really young people this is seen in close to 30% of patients.

Similarly most of the patients, displayed lung damage more than even life long smokers

We hve no idea what damage this virus is causing and what impact will happen long term. No body is shrugging this off, it affects almost every organ but most of the impact will be seen in a few years

IPL 2020: 'Suresh Raina Will Realise What He is Missing With All the Money He's Going to Lose'

After Suresh Raina left UAE citing personal reasons, CSK owner N Srinivasan has bashed the stylish left-hander for his rash decision. IPL 2020 is supposed to start on September 19, and Srinivasan has said that Raina will regret his decision and would want to come back.

After Suresh Raina left UAE citing personal reasons, CSK owner N Srinivasan has bashed the stylish left-hander for his rash decision. IPL 2020 is supposed to start on September 19, and Srinivasan has said that Raina will regret his decision and would want to come back. “The season has not begun yet and Raina will certainly realise what he is missing and certainly all the money (a salary of 11 crores per season) he is going to lose,” Srinivasan told Outlook.

Raina's decision was surprising, to say the least, since two of their players had already been detected with Covid-19, and the team was banking on its senior players. “My thinking is that if you are reluctant or not happy, go back. I don’t force anyone to do anything ... sometimes success gets into your head,” he further said.

There were reliable reports from health officials suggesting that ever since the team landed in Dubai, Raina's room did not have proper balconies, that made him claustrophobic. Also, he wanted a similar room like MS Dhoni, who had balcony in his room. “Cricketers are like prima donnas ... like the temperamental actors of the olden days. Chennai Super Kings have always been like a family and all seniors players have learned to co-exist,” said Srinivasan.

While there were some more reports suggesting that Raina flew back, fearing his own health.

He is CSK's highest run-getter till now and has featured in all the ten seasons of the IPL. Also he is the second in list of highest run-scorers in IPL, after Virat Kohli.

Nasty words from the corrupt cunt, spewing venom at the player who had been the heartbeat of the team for a dozen years and facing great personal tragedy.

At first they put out a diplomatic statement about his departure but this u turn is very shocking and disgusting even by the cunt's already low standards. If Raina asks for a bigger room, just give it. Don't be a cheap bitch and whine about it in public.

I dont think they had a bigger room otherwise I dont see why they would have an issue giving it. Becuse of bio security they are forced to take whatever hotels they can take near the ground which wont be up to the usual standard of these players. And all rooms will be taken and full

Only thing is he shouldn't have spoken about money part.

Shameful attempts by Srini mama to bully Raina and publicly abuse him at a time he is going through a personal tragedy. The insinuation of asking for a room with balcony (how dare he ask for a room equivalent to what Dhoni gets) being used to call him a prima donna! Add to it the conceited story of a rift with Dhoni. Imagine giving 12-13 years of your career to a franchise (at the cost of your International career) and then getting publicly abused by the owner of the team.

I hope Raina comes out and spills the beans on the 2013 fixing saga to expose Srini.

Cheap team manager. Here in RCB, we give even some PR people get a room with a view, can’t they shell out a decent room for their players? Cheapskate owner,
