Middle order is the biggest weakness of our team,a player like Hales will easily get into the team,he is as good a player as Roy and Bairstow the only reason he isn't in the team is because Morgan doesn't like him.

Banton or Billings can easily replace our no.6 batsman pandey or pant.

no they cant at no.6 we are looking for someone who can bowl so sam curran, david willey, moeen ali can but those 2 cant coz billings n banton cant bowl.

Manish pandey is temporary .....once hardik is fit kohli will also look to fit jadeja somehow and 6 can be that slot. After hardik injury they need to strengthen their 5th bowling option

If there is a choice between Hales and Iyer most of the teams will choose Hales .
That's what I was saying,Hales would easily get into our team.
Secondly As of now we have pandey at 6 and Billings is better.We don't have any good player who can bat at 6 and that's why we are playing pandey.
The choices we have at no.6 according to ur description are Shankar,krunal,nitish rana and I won't pick anyone of them ahead of Billings or banton.The difference in batting quality is just too much.

Also ,we need to develop shreyas Iyer as a part time option otherwise we won't be able to obtain balance.

Post 2011 rules part timers wasnt as effective

     As of now with the players available in india , we will have to take Hardik at 6  who may not bowl more than 5-6- overs and need one at at 7 who can bowl and act as a buffer when needed . Likely choice Rana as no.1 . Based on improvement Abhishek, parag  and Samad may  come up . 

Jaiswal could be a possibilty of a buffer

If hardik doesnt bowl more then 5-6 overs....then only jadeja axar kind of ppl can come in play who can bowl full quota. 

 

Rana at best is a part timer ....for guys like rana or riyan to come hardik has to consistently bowl his full quota of overs
