tyagi has raw ability in terms of pace and height  but these bowlers developed ways of dismissing batsmen according to their actions and were able to replicate those balls .

Yes ... replicating a good and effective ball is the key to success for fast bowlers.

I was happy to see Tyagi try the same effective yorker ball after ball today in the 2 death overs he bowled.  Now, if he can develop an effective good length ball directed around the top of off stump ... he will be good to go.

My view is he has an outswinger but with his action if he can develop a good inswinger then he will be a lot more effective,he doesn't even have to come close to the stumps  .

That will add an advantage. But as long as he uses the crease to come closer to the stump, he will become difficult to handle.

A few things I would like young Tyagi to do

1)  In the death overs, keep bowling 5 to 6 yorkers per over, like he did today. He is great at this. Please don't change this.

2)  Practice bowling his top of the off stump directed stock ball a lot more. Hit the deck hard with this ball and get bounce and seam movement from time to time.

3)  Practice bowling round the wicket to left handers. This will cut down on the angle and not give the left handers any room.

4)  Practice coming closer to the stumps while bowling.

His action is different now. In this, it is more like Bhuvi but now it's more pace oriented than swing.

True. And more hit-the-deck oriented too.

But this older video shows that he is used bowling a good attacking line and length. Not too full and not too short and a nice off stump line.

He will always be hard to play when he gets that outswing for right /inswing for the lefties .but his angle makes it harder for him to move the ball away from the right handers or into the lefthanders and he has to be pin point accurate ,conditions are also req. Also has to always bowl full to the left handers from over the wicket, anything on length will be outside leg ,making him predictable. In t20s though he should look to bowl the yorkers outside legstump of the left hander ie follow the batsman rather than attack the stumps.

Pacers who bowl wide of the stumps can angle the ball into the right handers  ... and if they can make the ball straighten from there while targeting the off stump to 4th stump, batters are forced to play and can edge easily.

Bumrah does it to both right handers and left handers from either side of the wicket.

Another advantage is that the edges go to either the keeper or the first slip and more slips are not needed.
