Mayabazar made in 1957 is still the greatest Telugu film ever made. It was so ahead of its time in using creative special effects. The actor in this scene SV Ranga Rao is the greatest Telugu actor ever.

Other actors were scared to share the screen with him because he used to completely dominate the scenes with his great acting and screen presence.

He is one of the favorites in Tamil as well. His dialogue delivery is very funny. One of the most popular actors among those who played elderly roles. Missiyamma (in Telugu missamma) is one of his great roles.

Mandalorian and Grogu

Watched it in the theatre. I am a huge Grogu fan, and this movie did a nice job of highlighting him.

But overall, I am a bit tired of the same old formulaic Star Wars spinoff plots, characters, war scenes and environs. Boring.

Plus I will never understand the juxtaposition of brilliant technology and shytty living conditions - Hey, I am on Star Wars, so I will communicate with a planet on the edges of my galaxy and fly a vessel to get there in 5 minutes, but everyone lives in mud huts in the middle of dark, dreary, desolate deserts or forests.

Ittefaq - the modern remake/reboot is a good movie. It is a better movie than the old rajesh Khanna /Nanda one with better script and acting. The older one is too dated.

It did happen. IT is a disturbing story and there are some sad scenes obviously.  But the series is not about that. This is about the men hunt that followed.

Apparently loosely based on Ranga Billa case.

Black Warrant also covered it

Watchign I will find you. So far engaging.  Finished boroughs last week. Stranger things - old men version. I enjoyed it. I love these cozy campy movies/series.  Watched Karuppan. We have a new anirudh , Sai Abayankar. Insanely noisyso bad that i had to mute several songs.  Same style. Random cringeworthy rap song during fights.

Is it depressing?

They have changed the caste/religion of many main characters and pushed their oppression/suppression agenda. Not a fan of this kind of manipulation, whether done by RW or LW.

Paradise is an intriguing series. I am half way through first season.  Due to series of natural disasters  Earth becomes unlivable.  A community with a population of 25000 people settle down in a underground bunker including US president.  There the president gets killed. Solving the murder is the story. Prime suspect is his body guard. He is the main character who is also investigating.
