Panchayat season 3 holds ground with the same feel as first two. The light romance  between leads is good, and of course the language is pure desi magic. The ending is kind of messed up.

Ending felt like Mirzapur lite... Not as good as first 2 season for sure.

Season picked up after Beer meet up of gang.

Bhushan stole the show lol... Great actor :hatsoff:

Watched ' The First Omen'. Nothing special like Omen or Damien Omen II. Just generic stuff. It was not scary at all.

one of the movies which really scared me to death is the omen

Hey, what brand has the cleanest creatinine monohydrate? Should I take this before or after or during the workout?

i would take that before sleep or between snacks hours so its absorbs thru out the day. U would want fastest absorbing protien (hydrolyzed whey) right after ur workout

Yeah, enjoyed Kill, 9/10. Insane action set pieces, lots of gore so proceed with caution.

Twisters 7/10, good one time watch

Kalki 6/10, potential was there but missed opportunity.

Gonna watch Longlegs tomorrow night.

Maharaja a Tamil movie of Vijay Sethupathi, really good thriller. Try to catch it y'all, one of the better Indian movies you'll find. Anurag Kashyap as villain also acted very well, just trust my words and go ahead.

Probably no, violence is ok but theme deals with child sexual abuse, though such scenes aren't shown on screen.

I was hearing a lot about this movie, tried to skip it because there was another movie called Maharaj which was the usual left wing trash. Since this had Setupathi, Anurag Kashyap and the look and feel made me think this will also be same left wing/DMK type trash.

Finally checked it out and I watched it one sitting which I have not done for any OTT films  in recent times including blockbusters I missed watching on theatre.

excellent thriller but I did see the twist ending coming 60-70% through the movie. Still it kept me glued.

Anurag and Vijay both such outstanding talents who can be called world class regardless of what I feel about their politics. I don’t know setupathi’s politics though but just gives me the typical DMK kalakaar vibe.

Usually our people don't make good thrillers. Kahaani, Drishyam (OG Malayalam one), Andhadhun, Wednesday, Kaun etc. being exceptions.

Maharaja is right up there with the best. Saw it again, also Kill...Maharaja is better in every facet and much better rewatch value. Shall follow the director's work keenly in the future.

And Sethupathi killed it, one of the best I have seen.

Tbh the themes this movie explores like vigilante justice, extra judicial killings, these things will piss off left wing types.

To be fair to Kollywood folks, Sun controls the media space in Tamil Nadu. And Red Giant Movies is the largest production and distribution company in Tamil industry, almost a monopoly, headed by CM Stalin's son. They even bully Hollywood, Bollywood makers to get a larger cut. I can understand if Tamil celebs don't speak out against the DMK family (especially now when there is no opposition post Amma's death). Even Kamal Haasan had to ally with these DMK people and speak their language, when he started out as anti DMK/AIADMK option. Sethupathi is small fish relatively, power dynamics not in his favor that he can give anti DMK statements even if he wanted to....maybe superstar Rajini can but even he avoids direct confrontation.

I don't agree with Kashyap's politics but he has given chance to so many outsiders, brought new talent in all departments of film making, after RGV it was Kashyap who backed non-nepo talent in Bollywood and stood against the filmy/dynasty mafia and bigwigs.....for that he will always have my respect.

Longlegs 6/10, weakass final act.

Started off so great, creepy af in first 30 odd minutes, I thought it would be as good as Hereditary, alas.
